New Millennium

1/29/2013
So I haven't actually been to New Millennium because I live North of Seattle, however, I visited their sister store AAM (Aurora Alternative Medicine, pretty sure that's what it stands for) and it was phenomenal, but I couldn't find a page on here. The Lemon Thai and Blue God were among my favorite picks, and I will definitely be making a return visit. - ZC

Attica Gold

1/9/2013
No matter how hard I searched, I couldn't find any information on this strain, so this is only speculation: Judging by the name, the bud structure, and the density that comes with a longer flowering time, I'm assuming that Attica Gold is a landrace sativa originating from the Attica region of Greece. Looks great, incredibly dense buds that are tightly covered with trichomes if you look closely. Smells nice, not too strong of a smell but that could just be this particular grow. Tastes nice, sweet with a slight hint of spice, not too rough on the inhale but a big bong hit can have you coughing. Effects are phenomenal, somewhat of a haze feel to it, very mentally active, very happy and euphoric. It can leave you a bit more couchlocked than many other sativas though if you smoke too much. Another review I saw of this strain mentioned it "warmed the vision with a familiar glow". I think that's a nice way to describe it, and because of that it's great for anxiety. Would be a really nice strain for camping as well.

Top Shelf Delivers

5/18/2012
GREAT SERVICE! Hopefully I can delete the review that says they never got back to me, because turns out the reason was that they were already on their way! They bring everything right to your door, they accept cards, and TJ I believe his name was, is the friendliest guy you could hope for when obtaining your medicine. Everything is real smooth and easy, just as it should be! 10/10.

Northern Lights

3/30/2012
The first time I had Northern Lights, I wasn't all too impressed with it. It was just another strain, nothing unusual or incredible. Not bad by any means, just not great. However, it had been almost a year and some top-shelf Northern Lights was the special at my dispensary, so I decided to give it another go. Boy was I wrong the first time. Northern Lights is quite possibly the most hard-hitting strain I've ever smoked. In smaller amounts, it creates a nice body buzz, with just a bit behind the eyes that slowly builds, and has some euphoric effects. In higher amounts however, it's incredibly potent. At its peak, I found myself stumbling in the dark, tingling, and spacing out completely, with a full body and head buzz going, and an incredibly euphoric state. Almost a drunken type of feeling, but without the dizzyness, or the nausea, and with much more control over your mind and body. As it subsides from its peak, it lead me into an incredibly relaxed state of mind and body, where I knew that I would soon want to drift into sleep. As I laid there I had vivid thoughts, and drifted into a nice, deep sleep. All in all a 9/10. Almost a perfect 10, but it could almost be too potent. Definitely a night-time only strain in larger amounts, or else you may find yourself unable to function.

White Russian

3/17/2012
I've tried a lot of strains in my time smoking, but White Russian is one which I find quite unique.. visually it's incredibly crystally, very well-formed. It doesn't taste the greatest though, and it is crazy harsh, even out of a bong or bubbler. It tends to be hit me more as an indica when smoked alone, or if mixed in with other strains, seems to almost blend in (produce more sativa effects if smoked with other sativas, and vice versa). It makes me pretty relaxed, and even though it doesn't couchlock me, makes my eyes quite tired and gives me that mild head pressure. The only problem is, sometimes this pressure gets to the point where it can cause headaches, especially when smoked in higher amounts alone, or with strong indicas. Has quite a pronounced body high in higher doses as well. It also tends to make me slightly tired, especially towards the end. It has a pretty defined peak, where it takes a bit to creep up, then hits you hard, then slowly lets you down and has you feeling a bit dazed afterwards, I almost always have to smoke something else when coming down from a White Russian high in order to balance out the effects and prevent a headache. All in all, a strain that is incredibly strong, can help with pain relief in high doses and calm and relax you without couchlocking you so you can still get stuff done when smoked in lower doses. 7.5/10

Sensi Star

1/9/2012
Sensi Star has earned its place as my favorite strain. It's like every time I smoke Sensi, it knows my exact needs at that moment and caters to them. It has such a unique combination of effects, that it's one of those rare smokes that I can smoke at any time and have everything I need. Euphoria is first-rate for this strain, it makes EVERYTHING amazing. From music, to movies, to videogames, to food, to sex, this strain enhances everything. The body buzz is subtle yet amazing in lower doses, and in higher doses can be quite intense. The head high ranges from mild to a moderate pressure on the head and eyes. It also tends to give you the munchies, which is never a bad thing for me, as my appetite isn't that great normally. It's definitely also one of those strains where your mind wanders a lot, and you can easily find yourself zoning, and feeling great just laying there looking at the stars or cuddled up under some blankets. This makes it great as a just-before-bed strain as well. The taste is pretty great, sugary and lemony with a hint of pine, mild at first but harsher towards the end of the bowl. As far as indicas go, this strain is a unique and, when grown to its maximum potential, an incredibly potent and euphoric smoke. One which even those who typically steer away from indicas and more toward sativas should give a try.

LA Confidential

12/31/2011
Very interesting strain, still not sure of my complete opinion of it. Its effects vary, but I usually get some very trippy psychoactive effects, which are fun but can lead to minor paranoia (example, my door kept opening by itself, which I later attributed to the wind, but I had myself dead convinced that my house was haunted). On the bright side though, the strain also reduces anxiety. So even though I was trippin' out and thought my house was haunted and felt forces out to get me, I wasn't worried or upset about it, just kinda noticed it. This strain also makes me quite sleepy. It's not a knock-out, but it's a solid indica that tends to leave me glued to the couch or my bed, and especially combined with some Purple Kush or another heavily-sedative indica, makes a great bedtime strain. The main downside to this strain for me was the comedown. After about 2 hours or so after smoking this strain in moderate amounts (small amounts didn't have this effect as much), I always get a pretty bad headache. Not migraine status, but enough to really bother you and make you not function as well.

Pineapple Express

8/11/2011
I'm not even sure if I should review this yet, because it's still so early into the high, but I decided to keep a journal of my experience, so here it goes: 8:00pm: This stuff is pretty dang good. It was only $28/8th and with all the hype, I just HAD to pick it up. I keep hearing in these reviews how happy it makes everyone, and I guess that is a pretty good word for it. Smoked one bowl, got 4 decent-sized hits off of it, you know, where you don't really PUSH yourself, you just inhale til you feel full! I definitely have a head buzz with that lovely pressure feeling in your sinuses (the good kind, not the bad!). A small body buzz, nothing crazy, just the enhanced sensitivity to touch that I get from almost all strains. 8:45pm: Just got back from the store, had some major munchies so my girlfriend and I are cooking up a pizza and some garlic bread. Buzz is starting to come down sadly, but I'm still technically high. Stuff is still funnier, my concentration is still a bit lacking, and I still have some awful munchies and some cottonmouth. Still happier than normal, but not quite the uncontrollable ecstaticness that I had at first, leaves me wanting to smoke more to keep it back up until I decide to wind down for bed. Any body buzz/heady feeling is pretty much gone. All in all, a pretty good strain I'd say. Worth picking up if you can find some that's at a good price, or some that's REALLY crystally and well-grown to it's maximum potential.

Berry White

7/31/2011
Actually, from what I've heard and read, Berry White is actually Blue Widow. (blueBERRY x WHITE widow versus BLUEberry x white WIDOW). White Berry is a totally different strain. Maybe merge this with the Blue Widow page and have it redirect? After checking to be sure my genetics information is correct.
