Chocolate OG reviews
Had a rough week, needed some help getting to bed, decided to splurge on a top-shelf trey ($25 for an eighth in Mass). Harvest 11/25, tried 2/26, THCA 28%, CBGA .61%, D9 .49%, Terps 1.95%, a-pinene .69%, beta-myrc .42%). Felt like a freight train of shut-eye hit around the 20/30min mark. 10/10 recommend cultivator (cresco in mass). Bright green buds and neon orange trichomes - not at all what I was expecting for an indica-dominant strain. Smoke turned more flavorful after about .5g, when the chocolate aroma really came out.
taste like choclate
the best indica i have ever smoked
I picked up an ounce of this stuff, smoked half a bowl out of my bong and I felt the relaxation slowly take effect at first, but as soon as I got in bed after, I was hit like a mack truck by the calming sensation and felt all my stress and racing thoughts vanish and I began drifting off to sleep soon after. This strain definitely helps my insomnia and my anxiety. 10/10 would buy again.
Another eighth purchased at Lazy River led to one of the oddest yet enjoyable experiences. First off, this doesn’t smell like chocolate, which threw me off. It has some earthy citrus notes, a bit pungent but not like a skunk or onion, it’s like sharp and earthy but with citrus undertones. Secondly, the taste was earthy and had a spike of something citrusy for the first two hits, but then the chocolate notes came in as it burned down. Very thick smoke on this one with rich tobacco on the finish. This one was a creeper, hit me in the top back of my head first and it filtered into my torso, felt like a weighted blanket was over me, made me feel cozy. This initial high only lasted an hour to an hour and a half and after that, I got inspired to play games (Magic Arena and chess) and the high became very focused. After about another hour, I didn’t feel high, just out of it like foggy. Not an arousing strain, in fact I felt little desire, but the zesty session with the wife (who tried some new edibles) was one of the best I’ve had while under the influence. I’d recommend for sure, but it is a very trippy and unique experience!
A great , powerful nighttime strain, Chocolate OG is a strong indica producing heavy sedation and a promised couch lock. The low THC (23%) seems to not effect the incredible strength of this strain. This strain works for beginners at night and will get experienced users super stoned through the day.
Great strain. Taste is amazing in a sweet backwood
I was hesitant to buy it first since it said all natural ingredients, soil etc is used and I'm glad I did this if definitely my new strain,I can't wait to try more
