I moved here 5 years ago and drive 50 miles away to TC to buy at the Lighthouse. Before making Lighthouse my dispensary above all others in Traverse City, I did see many other ones in TC and they were just ok to me. When I went for my first time to Lighthouse, they were very cool, knowledgable and did not try to sell you all kinds of products that you probably will not use. I found this when shopping in Ann Arbor and other places which is annoying as I am pretty savvy already and on to this behavior. My products are always there and I try to choose the popular brands that customers keep coming back for because they work well. My favorite bud tender is Lindsey because she explains things well when buying something new, and she actually asks what I am using for (if you care to share). Myself, it's chronic pain from a neck issue and I am allergic to many RX pain medications. No I do not want to take them. You will see that this dispensary is the best in Traverse City bar none! This is quite frankly my favorite errand to run every month. I was getting paid once a month by my previous employer so I set my stash up for a once monthly re-up cycle. Not long after I got my medical card I was at my monthly stop when I saw a dog on a leash in the building that was not a service dog. I confirmed with the staff that dogs were allowed in the building and ever since then I have brought my Daniff (English Mastiff x Great Dane) with me. She loves all the staff and they love her back! When we walk in she's jumping on the counter and getting showered with treats before I even get checked in lol. Love the store and the people in it. Great service, great deals, membership points exchangeable for cash, you name it.
