Super Blue Dream strain

Not me trying yet ANOTHER so called blue dream cross hoping to rediscover the lost pheno of Blue Dream I remember, before legalization (in Michigan anyway). You know the one. Circa 2008ish. It definitely doesnt smell or taste like it used to, at least not MOST companies', which I attribute to genetics being lost or crossed into new strains, sometimes confusingly without a new strain name. And thats what I think happened to the Blue Dream I remember. However.....this (a very cheap cured resin from an MI company called Glacier) is as close as I've found in the past decade. Assuming there are no terpenes added, I'd say this was a successful back breeding to keep the Blue Dream heritage alive.

Fruity and aromatic. Nice head feelers and energetic vibes. Good for video games and house cleaning.

This strain is more energetic than I thought it would be. I'm mostly a energetic Sativa person because I can get tired easily. I'm even worried about some sativa strains like Blue Dream possibly making me tired. Last night on weed maps I found a clinic with real cheap prices on their flower. For their highest quality strains their exclusive it's only $20 an 8th and $40 a quarter. I dont normally get strains like blue dream. They had Energetic strains on their on line menu is why I went their but they didnt update it. So they had only two Sativas, one being super blue dream,which they have listed as a Sativa not a Hybrid like online. So because of that listed a sativa and the real cheap price I decided to get a quarter . After smoking it ,I will say it is exclusive quality,not the best exclusive around but definitely in that high end category. It woke me up. I went to the gym after the clinic and smoked in the parking lot next to my car. I was in the gym for over 2 hrs and did alot of cardio and weights. I looked on Leafly and it says it's supposed to make u real hungry, I dont notice that really. I wasnt hungry right after smoking it or a cpl hrs after. I am eating some now but I think that's because I havent eaten since before 12pm and it's past 9 pm now. I 1st smoked it 6 hrs ago and I havent noticed a come down that some Sativa strains like blue dream dose after giving you energy. Also I feel like it's a clear minded type of high. Not like one of those highs where u feel a lil disoriented and or it's a lil hard to think straight. I have ADHD so normally I feel like my brain is functioning too fast making it hard for me to think. I notice that this strain helps slow my brain down,and not in a stupid but smart way. It said online that it helps with ADHD ,well their right. I havent yet done any tasks that involves a lot of thinking yet, I just got this strain. But I do notice my brain is slowing down making it easier for me to think. I would recommend this strain to someone that has anxiety that wants a strain that has enegery but doesn't make their anxiety worse like a lot of energetic sativas can do. I would still prefer 100% sativas that are energetic, but for the person that wants a energetic hybrid this is perfect for them. They will get a nice head high with a medium body high with out being tired or with a heavy come down. . Just watch out time can seem like its a lil fast while on this strain, could seem like it's only been 30 min but it's been closer to a hr . When like watching TV or doing a project.

not as great as good old #bluedream

Even better than Blue Dream. Which is kinda obvious, or so it should be. It's balanced in a sense that it doesn't have any stand out effect. It is overall a good Hybrid but not really for anything specific.

The first time I tried Super Blue Dream, it didn’t feel particularly potent. I wondered if I needed to vape more. I later learned that the effects were somewhat slow to develop. I’ve found the best uses to be for focused, creative work. I’m able to function socially without much paranoia. I will say that I’ve had a couple negative experiences while using Super Blue Dream— watching disturbing movies (horror, suspense, etc.) was more intense than usual. Definitely prefer to keep things more mellow in these circumstances. For that reason, I’m not sure I’d recommend this strain for someone who is doing anything but just relaxing or focusing on a project of some sort.

I'm pretty blown away by this strain, which I wasn't expecting since I picked up as a $35 eighth. Though my medical use isn't as serious as someone dealing with severe pain or seizures, I do suffer from acute anxiety companied by depression. Through therapy and meditation, I've been able to make it through the day while at work or school with minimal problems, but when I'm idle or at home, my anxiety ratchets up pretty quickly. For me, this strain is incredible at dealing with this at idle anxiety. As far as consumption goes, I'm typically either using a Dynavap or a Boundless CFC vaporizer using .05 to .1 grams in a typical session. Immediately effects are present with a slight behind the eyes push, within in minutes after inhaling the lightly-sweet and earl-grey tasting vapors a calm and mellow sense of relief runs through my body quelling my nervous ticks and easing my anxious mind into the present. The only real con that comes to mind is slight dry mouth, but that's easily fixed by having grapes in one hand and a bottle of water in the other.
