Dark Star strain

The strain gave me the opposite of relaxed but in the best positive connotation. Its flavor was mysterious for me for a while; it seemed like the airhead you eat that was “???” Flavor but less sweet and more seasoned it seemed. The woody flavor kinda reminds me of the husk of a watermelon or cantaloupe. You’ll also have the season taste i mentioned before complementing that taste like it’s a pepper in an already delicious dish. This review was written with not only the THC strain being Dark star but it was also paired with psylopsybin so the flavor I’m describing could be incredibly different to how it taste alone without mushrooms

I had quit cannabis back in 4/20/2023 (yes on 4/20). I had been consuming too much and spending too much on it. I wanted to go a full year. But 6 months in, i went through a family tragedy and was finding myself super depressed and taking trazedone to fall sleep. I didn’t want to do that and decided to try cannabis again. I looked up several indicas and found this sounded like the best option for someone now only wanting it to help me fall asleep at night. I’m basically taking three or four hits when I lay down in bed for the night. This strain works wonders for that. My wife snores, and it gets bad enough that I’ll leave the room to sleep in the spare because it’s so loud. With this strain? I just fall asleep, didn’t and don’t even hear the snoring now. This strain is great for relaxing and will help elevate insomnia imo. I slept so well for the first time in a couple months. I have it in cartridge form. Good Evening, fellow members of "the Leaf"! NOTE: This was a recent purchase from a local dispensary 45 days ago called "Firelands Scientific Dark Storm # 30053" flower Starts. Slooooow... I needed to be 3-to four bong pulls before I started to sense tingling in my arms/legs. Now about a good 3 "nugs" into this, I feel FOCUSed, calm, and happy, I would be talkative but I'm "Hans Solo" tonight :( Music is pleasantly mixed into my floaty high. I'm focused, but only for about 10 seconds, but it's an intense 10 seconds. Then BOOP, onto the...squirrel! It's a bit during on the mouth/palate. Usually, I need to be into my 3'rd bowl before cotton-mouth. Just have your favorite adult beverage at hand and hydrate as needed; helps a lot. I'm all alone in a big house by myself (well, I have 5 dogs-3 mini LH weiners & 2 100lb+ goldens) and feel totally safe. NO paranoia at all :) Not feeling the munchies yet (a good thing). I guess @ 19 THC, it's on the stronger side, but totally approachable for the newbie and satisfying to leaf veterans. HIghly recommended!

I just tried this today. I have lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome and immune deficient. I have chronic pain and anxiety. Not only does this taste delicious! But a little goes a long way. I smoke everyday and this is one of my favorites!!! Fruity yet earthy! Really really enjoy it!

First time trying this strain, absolutely wonderful for pain relief and just chilling out at the end of the day. Had it by itself and also mixed with Forbidden Fruit.

This is an amazing indica. It's really calm, surprisingly clear headed, with a heavy lower body tingle. Very pain relieving! My back and knee pain is gone. Anti-anxiety for me. I'm sensitive to that, so this makes it a new go to bedtime strain when I can get it. I'm deeply in love with this indica now.

Took a chance adding a new strain to my garden and there's a new king of the jungle Dark Star! Older reviews about this strain being subpart I think those were on the growers either being beginners or just didn't care about quality. I have other strong strains but this is at the top. Sweet, earthy, nut, slight pepper taste. Long lasting high. Keeping it in your pocket everyone will know its you because it's super loud smelling.

This strain is definitely not for the inexperienced. It is very potent and may be too intense for some. Probably best to start off slow . I have severe insomnia and it did get me to sleep. However it took 4 hours to get me there. I'm not complaining though because packed into those 4 hours is wonderful pain relief, inspired creativity, and a funky alteration of time and space. You will definitely gravitate towards food, so keep some of your favorites close by. The taste of your favorite food is that much better. There was also no couch lock. Overall highly recommended especially if you enjoy food, music, sex and sleep. Dark star takes it to the next level.
