What is carding?
Carding at a cannabis dispensary is similar to carding at a bar, nightclub, or casino to ensure consumers are of legal age to purchase certain substances or participate in a particular activity. Cannabis shops and businesses in legal states in the US require customers be 21 or older to purchase cannabis; for medical patients, it can be lower, depending on the state and county. In Canada, it’s 18, 19, or 21, depending on the province.
