Aster Farms — Harry’s Harvest

View this post on Instagram

On July 27th, the Ranch Fire started one mile down the road from our property. For three days we prepared the property for evacuation, on the fourth, we left with hopeful hearts. Overhead were 747s dropping retardant to shape the burn path. All roads were closed and firefighters were streaming in from around the country and world. This was already the biggest fire in California history. Aster Farms was directly affected by the fire, losing a number of structures including a home on the property. With the support of the cannabis community we were fortunate enough to recover quickly, however there are many who have not. We launched a give-back program, Harry’s Harvest, to support the community that was there for us. Aster Farms donates $2 of every purchase to the volunteer fire departments of Lakeport and Hopland. Today we are opening that campaign to our friends and family across the country with a donation page. Link in bio. All proceeds will go to support volunteer firefighters in our communities. We thank you for your support. #givebacktuesday #community #ranchfire #mendocino #lakecounty #donate #fire #firerelief #cannabiscommunity #giveback #harrysharvest #cannabisculture #upperlake #norcal

Harry’s Harvest is a new line of flower dedicated to healing those most affected by these fires—$2 from every sale goes directly to local volunteer fire departments.

From Aster Farms: This particular line of flower is “dedicated to the half tabby, half bobcat, Harry, who lived on the farm. When the Aster team had to evacuate from the Ranch Fire (part of The Mendocino Complex Fire), Harry was the only animal missing.”
