I don’t taste the citrus some people are refereeing to. To me it had a similar taste to nothern lights. A. Bit of a creeper but once it hit, it’s a strong in a pleasant way. I didn’t get dark thoughts or anxiety.

Sour OG Cheese

Distinctive notes of ammonia but it wasn’t unpleasant, just kind of different. Mellow hit, similar to Moby Dick. Uplifting and gives a little kick like a cup of coffee but not a Red Bull like white widow (I once cleaned my bathroom after smoking this one). One of my favorite hybrid.

Northern Lights

Great evening medicine for me. Makes me feel like I just had a shoulders/back massage or took a couple muscles relaxants. Inflammation and tension gone. I was very relaxed but it didn't make me sleepy in a dizzy way. I was still somewhat functional around the house. The effects were not immediate and took effects over a span of 20 Minutes. No munchies for me. Vaporized The taste was earthy, lemony and also tasted like pine resin. kind of like pinesol and moss.

Sour OG

12/25/2016
This is great day time strain inducing a very cerebral high. It acts like a cup of coffee and let's me be functional and I didn't crash an hour or two later. I found there was no real recreational effects to it more like pure medicinal. Helps with stress, inflammation and nerve pain. It made me a bit paranoid at times when used in larger quantities. Sour OG is very pungent, I can smell it through my mason jar. I use a vaporizer and I find it tasted like sour raisins and dirt, weird but not unpleasant.

Pennywise

This strain ( or maybe just the batch I got ?) smells very strong, even vaped or just the buds themselves in my jar. The taste was not unpleasant, very earthy, like grass. I have trigeminal neuralgia and this strain really helps with pain. I found the effects to be a bit slow to take effect but they lasted a while. I was clear headed but a bit slowed down. Very relaxing and great for pain. It gave me a serious case of the munchies though.. once I ate sushis, a bag of chips and two grilled cheese within 3 hours after having Pennywise.. that was bad.

VCDC

I personally did not like it. The after taste was too tropical, like tart pineapple and it threw me off a little bit, made me nauseous after a while. It did the job at reducing the pain, inflammation and making me sleepy but as a result it also made me dizzy and I found myself not very functional. I had a serious case of dry eyes too. I personally had a better experience with Pennywise or Cannatonic when it comes to high CBD strains.

Dairy Queen

I was doubtful of those claims of cheese, vanilla tastenotes but hey you know what? It actually does not take too much imagination to taste cheesecake in there! great taste! Def a day time strain; great for the beach or a hike. Gets me out of my shell. Can get me really dizzy and give a me a slight headache if I get too much though.

Cannatonic

This was the first time I had a high CBD content strain. I usually go for sativas with higher level of THC to help me go by with my medical condition and for recreational occasions. This is truly medical marijuana and I was happily surprised to see how much it relieved the symptoms of my neurologic pain condition. It is perfect for day use as I felt perfectly functional and alert. I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 because, even in a vaporizer, I felt it was "burning" pretty fast compared to other strains.

Aurora Cannabis

9/8/2016
I reviewed Aurora 3 months ago and gave them a 5 stars. They had a great selection of strains, a frequent rotation that kept it interesting and I had no issue with customer service. A lot has changed since. They have been running out of strains for a while. They have been down to 3 strains on the menu for a few weeks now and the quality has been suffering a little bit. They appear to be going strong on their marketing strategy and social media to attract new patients and it seems like they can't keep up with the demand. Lots of people complain about poor customer service. When I called; the automated system told me I was 2nd caller and would be answered in 4 min and was sent straight to voicemail 30sec later; left a voicemail and got called back 72hrs later.. Wasn't impressed anymore, i decided switched to a small LP operated facility on Vancouver island.

Querkle

6/9/2016
Querkle helped a lot with the pain caused by my occipital neuralgia. Helped me with inflammation, headaches, tension and trouble sleeping. If you have things to do during the day like work, appointments, errands.. I would not use Querkle as it hits me more as of an Indica than a Sativa. I was able to socialize and not be couch locked but It felt like I was in a haze a couple times. I find there is a thin line between day and evening use with Querkle. As for the taste; it didn't smell great out of the jar but the buds had a nice size, were not too dry, had nice orange hairs and crystals. Vaporized, I found it a bit sour like rhubarb with an aftertaste of berry. Not bad at all
