This strain was the successful result of crossing Chem's Sister with Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel. These parents ensured the connaiseur taste and high of this amazing strain.

Another great USA variety that probably most growers have sampled by now is one of the many variations of OG Kush. With it's distinctive taste and mysterious heritage, it has already filled many grow rooms with extremely potent product.

OG Kush

Critical Orange Punch is a feminized photoperiod seed variety, the first Dutch Passion strain based on outstanding Kritikal Bilbo genetics from Spain. The breeding began by crossing elite cuttings of Grandaddy Purps and Orange Bud (Orange Punch). The result was a supreme smoke with great taste but below-average yields. When this was further crossed with an XXL yielding THC rich Critical, the yields were dramatically improved thanks to the Critical growth vigor. Critical Orange Punch has a rich skunky citrus taste and an Afghan-hash aroma along with a long lasting powerful euphoric high. It’s an easy, stable XXL yielding variety to grow. She grows easily under a wide range of nutrient/growing conditions reaching around 1.5m indoors, taking just 7-8 weeks to bloom with commercial yields of rock hard, sticky buds. The result of this (Blueberry x Mazar) x Amsterdam Amnesia cross is Skywalker Haze, a hard- hitting, sativa dominant hybrid with a taste leaning to the citrus side of the spectrum, whilst still packing that legendary Mazar/Blueberry punch and fruity aftertaste.

Auto Brooklyn Sunrise has the right combination of fast growth and flowering alongside a compact structure. Exactly what kind of genetics are in Auto Brooklyn Sunrise?

The genetics come from a so-called USA East Coast ‘Brooklyn’ Diesel clone, known for its rich Diesel aroma and strong high. This clone was crossed with connoisseur AK genetics from upper New York State. These elite AK genetics give this cross even more power and a more compact bud structure. An autoflower version of this was eventually made. The result brings together the best of East Coast genetics in a very tasty autoflower with a strong yet enjoyable high. This strain typically has both a high potency and a heavy yield.

Auto Brooklyn Sunrise combines genetics from the proven, award-winning East Coast Sour Diesel with strong AK genetics from New York. This combination ensures fast harvests of THC-rich cannabis. Auto Brooklyn Sunrise is a reliably stable autoflower strain. She remains compact/medium in size and usually has a fully loaded main bloom surrounded by many beautiful side blooms.

A good strain for first time growers, she is easy to cultivate and grows quickly from seed to harvest in an average of 70 days. This strain has been developed to provide fast, efficient autoflower harvests. Due to its compact plant structure, this is a suitable plant to grow with the SOG method. With many plants per m2, very high yields are possible within a short time.

She is normally grown on a 20/4 light schedule but there are also growers who work on a 24/0 schedule with Auto Brooklyn Sunrise. When grown in perfect conditions, this Dutch Passion auto can be ready from day 60, making it the ideal strain for experienced growers who want a quick harvest of the highest quality. For most growers, however, we recommend waiting until at least day 70, as the buds will continue to grow during the last 10 days and the amount of resin will continue to increase as well.

Her plant structure is compact to medium and the internode distance is short to medium. This is a THC-rich cannabis strain with an above average resin coating. This also makes her particularly popular with makers of various cannabis concentrates such as cannabis oil, rosin, BHO and shatter.

Effects of Auto Brooklyn Sunrise

Auto Brooklyn Sunrise® gives a surprisingly powerful initial euphoric high, making it a pleasant morning variety for breakfast. This is where the name comes from. Ideal for a ‘wake & bake’ with a nice cup of coffee and a croissant. The high is not overwhelming at all, but very pleasant. Do not smoke too much in the morning (you may want to get something done afterwards!) because the high is quite strong, especially for novice users.

The high starts with an uplifting and euphoric high and transforms over time to a more relaxed effect. This strain provides a balanced high that is more common with good 50/50 varieties (50% Indica / 50% Sativa). This strain is known to promote creativity, the energetic uplifting effect makes this strain very suitable for daytime use, but less so for night-time use unless you don't want to go to sleep immediately. It's a good strain for creative tasks, long conversations or a night of gaming.

The bloom time of Auto Brooklyn Sunrise

Auto Brooklyn Sunrise grows indoors from seed to harvest in an average of 11 weeks. Some plants, especially in perfect growing condition, can be ready in 60-65 days. That's around a week to 10 days faster than many other autos. It is one of the quickest, most robust autoflowers in our collection. It is therefore the ideal strain for home growers (or licensed growers) looking for an autoflower strain with a good yield and a faster flowering time than most autos.

This strain also thrives outdoors and usually takes about 80-90 days to fully mature. She can also provide a large harvest outdoors, especially when grown in good aerated soil. Most plants will stay between 50-75 cm, with exceptions up to 100 cm. To get the greatest yield outdoors, especially in more temperate climates, we recommend to pre-grow her for a maximum of 2 weeks (from germination) under 24 hours light per day in a pot of at least 1L, (larger is always allowed!).

This Dutch Passion autoflower is an easy and straightforward strain to grow. It is a productive autoflower with a heavy yield. Her compact and full buds provide a good weight, even after drying. The flowers are very white with a strong diesel aroma. Auto Brooklyn Sunrise has received an XL mark due to the potential yield that can be achieved with it, especially in the hands of a more experienced grower.

Indoors, under the right conditions, she can yield around 400-500g /m2, on average within 9-11 weeks from seed to harvest. She does well with the SOG method, but you also have little-to-no maintenance when grown in the natural way. She has a very pleasant structure to work with. She can be topped early in growth in case you want to keep her even smaller, although you will miss the nice main bloom. Outdoors she can yield an average of between 25-100 g per plant. If possible, provide a shelter or a place with good ventilation because the compact buds don’t like exposure to consecutive days with damp weather.

Advice from our experts

Auto Brooklyn Sunrise has a reputation for being one of the easiest autoflower strains to grow. It is recommended for novice growers looking for an uncomplicated autoflowering plant that does not require any special feeding schedules or growing techniques to achieve good results. Experienced growers will find that this is a strain that can tolerate quite a bit. Therefore, it is suitable for using various yield enhancing cultivation techniques such as; LST (Low Stress Training), topping, fimming and supercropping.

The best tip we can give for this strain is to be careful with the nutrients. This is the most common mistake among beginners. She even does well on a low feeding regime. As always, it’s easier to give extra nutrients when there is a shortage than it is to deal with the problems of overfeeding (nutrient burn).

Overall, this is just a very forgiving autoflower and a true all-rounder. She combines ease of growth, speed and a heavy easy-to-cut harvest with high quality buds. Auto Brooklyn Sunrise is not inferior to most classic photoperiod strains.

Dutch Passion's Head of Genetics came across a very special pheno of Gelato on one of his travels. The plant had an amazing candy smell and some beautiful blue tones in the leaves. The sparkling buds were rock hard, the Head of Genetics was amazed by the rich taste which was exactly the same as the deliciously sweet and appealing aroma of the buds on the plant. He knew that this exceptional individual would be outstanding base material for another elite Dutch Passion cross.

This Gelato pheno arrived in “Mokum” (the old Hebrew/Yiddish word for Amsterdam) and was crossed with a vigorous Sherbet individual that also leans to the sweet side of the Cookie family.The Sherbet had a terpene-rich aroma, heavy yields and a particularly powerful effect.

Amsterdam became famous for tulips back in the day and the smell of this new creation reminded us of a very sweet smelling red tulip. The name “Mokum's Tulip” quickly came to mind.This XXL yielding strain is a must for your empty cookie jar.

The “Strawberry Cough” genetics are of North American origin and partly uniquely European. “Strawberry Cough” is a hybrid between an Indica and a Sativa. From this hybrid we made a selection having about 80% Sativa influences. We have used this selection for the production of our “Strawberry Cough” Seeds. Our “Production and Research Team” has succeeded in creating the fruitiest variety imaginable. The fresh strawberry taste and aroma are very evident and wonderful to experience. Strawberry has an “up high” effect of medium THC-strength. The plants are beautiful to look at. The total flowering time takes about 9 weeks. The first and most powerful growth spurt of flowers ends in week four, the second at week 9. “Strawberry Cough” is easy to grow and does not need a strong fertilizing scheme. Standard fertilizing will do for good results. Individual plants will grow to medium height. Are you ready for the “Strawberry Experience”?

Through a Dutch Passion friend in Belgium, the Dutch Passion breeders team got their hands on one of the fruitiest strains they’ve encountered in a long time. This superb clone came from a beautiful Sweet Pink Grapefruit mother and when sampling the end product of this fruity genetic, our test team were blown away by the smell and taste of this strain. You can both smell and taste where this variety got it’s name from.

The yields of this variety were good, but after our breeders team crossed this individual with an original Orange Bud® clone, yields were increased to the next level and the fruity smell and amazing sweet taste were preserved. The result is something to be proud of and she was announced as “Passion Fruit®” If you are looking for some smokable fruit, then Passion Fruit® is the strain for you.

Through a Dutch Passion friend in Belgium, the Dutch Passion breeders team got their hands on one of the fruitiest strains they’ve encountered in a while.

Winner of several harvest festivals, and “High Times” Cannabis Cup. Skunk#1 (75% sativa, 25% indica) was originally a cross between 25% Afghani, 25% Mexican Acapulco Gold and 50% Columbian Gold. Inbred since 1978, now a stabilized homogeneous strain. Blooms with long, thick buds, varying in colour from light green to golden. Very high flower to leaf ratio. Mold susceptible the last 6 weeks of flowering. Soft and sweet aroma and a very strong “up” high. Excellent variety for indoor growing or greenhouse with darkening system. Very high yields. Easy to manicure. This variety serves as a standard against which others can be measured.

Dutch Passion are proud to present the non-autoflowering version of the legendary Think Different. Think Fast® was created by crossing Think Different AutoFem with a specially selected cutting of the Dutch Passion classic Power Plant® in the search of new AutoFem genetics. The first generation offspring, which is normally used for further breeding, was let flowering and gave surprisingly good results. When crossing an autoflowering variety with a traditional photoperiod variety, none of this offspring will be autoflowering. The Dutch Passion geneticists discovered that these non autoflowering plants, which carry the recessive autoflowering gene are significantly faster than their photoperiod parents.

Think Fast® still needs a 12/12 light system to start flowering, but grows bigger and taller in a faster way. With this feature it becomes possible to grow big, potent, photoperiod strains with almost the speed of an autoflower. Think Fast® can be grown outdoors and indoors and will reach the height of a photoperiod strain, but will be ready to harvest a few weeks earlier. Think Fast® inherited the overwhelming big yields from our classic strain Power Plant and is almost as fast and easy to grow as the legend Think Different.

Desfrán is a legendary variety in South America and a multiple prize winner of many cannabis cups. Desfrán is the result of crossing Destroyer with Destroyer, she was  originally a 3-way crossing of Mexican Oaxaca, Colombian Punto Rojo and Meao Thai and comes to Dutch Passion thanks to Alberto from Argentina.  Alberto is a Master Grower, Cannabis Connoisseur and owner of Haze Magazine. Our first project together was to introduce Desfrán to Europe.

During vegetative growth Desfrán needs little nutrition. She grows well in soil especially with plenty of root space, and grows vigorously in other grow methods too. Desfrán is 100% Sativa so she can grow very tall and develops long branches which can dominate the airspace/growroom in no time. During flower she stretches and can triple her height. Desfrán is very resinous variety suited for SOG and SCROG grow methods and usually takes 9-10 weeks to flower. Desfrán has a fruity aroma like pear and green apples, the taste is like enjoying a pear caramel with hints of grape and melon.  Desfrán produces unusually dense and compact flowers for a Sativa. When dried, the flowers look like glazed pinecones. Early harvest can result in a very cerebral and psychedelic high, if you harvest Desfrán late she tastes sweeter and is a true destroyer. Jorge's Diamond is a unique resin-packed indica-dominant strain that is potent, sweet, flavorful and incredibly smooth smoking. She grows to a height of around 1m, ideal for the indoor grow room. Flowering time is 8-11 weeks, with explosive bud growth in the last 2 weeks. The Ultimate is Sativa dominant and will take plenty of nutrients during the growth cycle, she is resistant to mold and bud-rot making it a good greenhouse choice too. The Ultimate is very suited for taking cuttings.

A proven variety dating back to the 1980’s, Shaman® is a reliable, robust and highly potent F1 hybrid of an exceptional male Purple#1 and a top female Skunk. Bred for the outdoor/greenhouse grower, Shaman® is resistant to mould and bud rot. Shaman® is a distinctive, elegant plant growing with clear Sativa characteristics such as long intermodal distance between the large buds. Around half the plants turn a beautiful shade of purple during flowering which is complete by the end of September or early October outdoors. In a greenhouse, flowering takes 7-8 weeks. Shaman® shows great hybrid vigour and delivers a smooth, woody sweet purple smoke that is a sensual high-quality sativa ‘up’ high.

A proven variety dating back to 1980, Shaman® is a reliable, robust and highly potent F1 hybrid of an exceptional male Purple#1 and a top female Skunk.

Ultra Skunk is the product of our 1999 Skunk project. We bred, and then cross bred the best Skunk strains from proven Dutch and Swiss genetics. Our leading Skunk specialist selected a variety that combined the thickest buds whilst retaining the best skunk qualities and potency.

The genetics have a hint of a leading Indica strain, this gives some leaves in the buds but also adds strength and consistently heavy yields to this top Skunk variety. The genetics are 40% Indica / 60% Sativa, the result is one of the best Skunk strains ever created and is extremely consistent.

It grows to a height of 60-80cm indoors with a flowering time is 8-9 weeks with good mould and spider mite resistance. Ultra Skunk is stocky and oily, bursting with crystals and heavy buds. The taste is sweet and fruity skunk with a hint of cedar. The high is classic Skunk – long lasting, stoned and ‘up’ high. Very high!
