Why should I buy Orange Bud 2.0 feminised cannabis seeds?

Orange Bud 2.0 is a new powerful hybrid crossing of our original Orange Bud with a very aromatic Mimosa. She is truly the most special cannabis strain in the Dutch Passion Orange Family cannabis seed collection.

She combines a very high THC content of approximately 20% with a very rich terpene profile. The buds smell super intense, pungent and taste heavenly. The classic 'orange' profile has been retained and elevated to a new level.

Orange Bud 2.0 is easy to grow, even for inexperienced growers, and has an average flowering time of approximately 8 to 9 weeks. In the hands of experts, this strain will flourish and provide the grower with truly top quality buds. This is a resin-rich strain with a compact plant and bloom structure which makes her suitable for every type of grower and growing method.

Her citrus-dominant orange aroma and flavour brings a true taste explosion. And the best part is, she tastes exactly like she smells - intensely fruity! With her high THC level, she delivers a strong high with a balanced effect. A mix of physical and mental effects, powerful yet relaxing.

Orange Bud 2.0, the new version of one of the most famous cannabis classic - Orange Bud. A cannabis strain with a world-famous background and a cornerstone of the current cannabis gene pool

As everyone knows, Skunk, Haze and Afghan are 3 of the most crossed and developed cannabis strains in the contemporary cannabis gene pool. Orange Bud is one of the classic Skunk varieties that we managed to develop and stabilise in the 80s and 90s until the buds were available in almost every Dutch coffee shop and also on every continent (in cannabis seed form).

A unique Skunk cultivar and decades-long bestseller with orange hairs on the buds. The beautiful frosty buds have a tasty fruity/orange aroma with a pleasurable high and good commercial value (easy to grow & clone, fast flowering time and a good yield).

Our new version, the Orange Bud 2.0, is now even fruitier, even more pungent and with even better bag appeal!
Orange Bud 2.0 has beautiful looking buds with an improved aroma and taste. The terpenes are even more intense and the bag appeal is improved compared to the original, the buds are more compact and completely covered in a thick layer of trichomes

Orange Bud 2.0 is our answer to the changing market where growers are increasingly looking for powerful 'terps ' and new flavour profiles. Orange Bud 2.0 is a cannabis strain available in feminised seeds and exclusive to Dutch Passion. She will appeal to both 'new-school' growers and 'old-school' fans of Orange Bud.

The well-known and refined orange/mandarin aroma of our classic Orange Bud has been retained and enhanced. As you would expect, the terpene profile gives the buds a citrus-dominant aroma and taste. But that’s not all, this new version has managed to achieve a new flavour complexity which has made it even more intense and fruity.

The aroma is fruity and slightly sweet with strong sour notes. You will notice this sourness in both the aroma and the taste. The intense 'Orange' character is dominant on both the inhale & exhale. This cultivar is wonderful to smoke or vape, intensely enjoyable!

In this new crossing, the smell and especially the taste of oranges has become even more pronounced. Some phenotypes may taste of nectarines, grapefruit, peach and tropical fruit. It really is an exceptionally tasty strain and with the improved bag appeal anyone who tries this strain will want to grow her again and again.
What exactly are the genetics in Orange Bud 2.0?

Orange Bud 2.0 is a cross of the original and cup-winning Orange Bud mother with a special elite clone of Mimosa. Our goal with this cross was to combine old and new to a level that would appeal to all types of growers and smokers. Even dedicated 'old-school' Orange Bud growers will love Orange Bud 2.0. But she will also be a hit with 'new-school' growers who like extravagant scent and flavour profiles.

The crossing with the American Mimosa (Clementine x Purple Punch) enabled our geneticists to improve the quality of the buds and further stabilise the strain. Orange Bud 2.0 is therefore more compact, whiter and with a better flower-to-leaf ratio without sacrificing the unique Orange terpene profile.

Do you like intensely fruity weed? Then don't wait any longer and try our Orange Bud 2.0 now!
Orange Bud 2.0 produces relatively compact plants with a fast flowering time. The buds are hard with a thick layer of resin and a strong citrus-dominant terpene profile

Orange Bud 2.0 is a new hybrid strain that is only available in feminised cannabis seeds. The plants have a slightly more compact and smaller plant structure compared to the classic Orange Bud. They also grow nice compact hard buds and are beautiful to look at. Because we focused on the quality of the buds and maintaining the relatively fast flowering time, we had to compromise slightly on the total yield.

Orange Bud 2.0 does not grow very large, she is slightly more Indica dominant than the original. If you grow her naturally without any growing methods, a height of about 75-100cm (2.5ft - 3ft) is quite typical - depending on the pot size and the light type/wattage. In the hands of good growers and an extended pre-growth period height be approximately between 100cm to a maximum of 150cm (~3ft - 5ft), but she doesn’t get much bigger.

Even first-time growers will enjoy growing Orange Bud 2.0 cannabis seeds. No special cultivation methods are required to achieve good results. By carefully stabilising her, she can also handle stress a little better than the original.

This is a unique new American-influenced Skunk cross. She produces robust branches and is easy to feed. The stretch is average and easy to predict. Orange Bud 2.0 does well in a SOG cultivation, just like her parents. Small pots, many plants per m2 and a short growth period promote a high yield.

Orange Bud 2.0 also grows easily naturally (with no growth techniques), but is slightly less suitable (compared to Original Orange Bud) for a SCROG due to her limited stretch and more compact plant structure. Orange Bud 2.0 can be harvested indoors after an average of 8-9 weeks.

She can also be relatively fast outdoors, making her a good candidate for harvesting early in the fall - especially in the warmer and dry areas. Around the Mediterranean region (and in similar climates/latitudes) she can be grown successfully outdoors.

The genetics used to develop Orange Bud 2.0 guarantee the following properties:

A powerful and fast flowering Indica dominant hybrid with a compact plant and bloom structure that is easy to grow.

Orange Bud 2.0 produces compact buds with a nice bag appeal. The flowers are sticky, firm and have a large layer of trichomes with the unmistakable vivid orange flower hairs.

An intensely fruity and tasty terpene profile, improved quality was central to the development of this new hybrid. Both the potency and the terpenes have skyrocketed and provide a sublime smoking experience.

Orange Bud 2.0 is an easily controllable and predictable variety to grow. She grows a little more compactly than the original and can handle stress a little better, making her particularly suitable for novice growers.

Effects of Orange Bud 2.0

Orange Bud 2.0 has a pleasant effect, the buds leave you in a wonderful dream-like state with a profound sense of calm and peace. The high potency of this strain provides a powerful effect that can last for several hours. Due to the hybrid genetics, the high has both a physical and mental effect. Due to the banging THC levels which average around 20%, this is a strong high with a creativity-promoting effect.

It makes your thoughts race. Orange Bud 2.0 is known for a 'mellow up-high' that can put you in an improved state of mind. The high potency also makes her suitable for medical users looking for high THC strains that can provide relief from pain, insomnia or lack-of-appetite.

The high is an intensely pleasurable experience that works well on social occasions or an evening on the couch with friends. The powerful fruity taste and the formidable high will bring a smile to everyone's face.
The flowering time of Orange Bud 2.0

Orange Bud 2.0 has an average flowering time of approximately 56-63 days. Different phenotypes can be slightly faster or slightly slower. But in general, in an indoor cultivation, a flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks applies. Due to the more indica-dominant hybrid genes, this crossing is slightly more compact in stature and has less stretch than the original Orange Bud.

An outdoor grow will be ready around mid-October in a temperate climate in the Northern Hemisphere. Make sure there is a rain-cover and good ventilation in the area - the buds become so compact that they can’t tolerate excessive rain, fog or moisture.

For most northern European (or similar) climates, this means that it is best to finish flowering indoors (with humidity control) during the last few weeks for best results. She does well in a sunny and dry climate and you will be amazed by the potential of this strain! She likes organic soil and coco-fibre the most. But she can also be grown hydroponically, which allows you to shorten the total growth time by a week or two.
Advice from our experts on growing Orange Bud 2.0 seeds

Orange Bud 2.0 is a plant with a unique look. Some plants develop coloured and sometimes even dark shades on the leaves and around the buds. This is most visible in an outdoor grow. The contrast that arises with the bright white buds gives the flowers an exotic appearance. This is a strain that is easy to understand.

She prefers good organic soil and can tolerate quite a few nutrients. In addition, she is a nice strain to manipulate, top (or 'fim') it and during veg growth phase it is best to lollypop her and defoliate several times. When growing outdoors, it is recommended to top the plants, so that an even bushier plant is created where the central main bloom is divided into several smaller blooms.

This is especially important in slightly more temperate climates. Topping several times can then be a solution to reduce the risk of bud rot and mold. It is therefore best to grow her in containers, so that you can move the plants in bad weather. Orange Bud 2.0 is not really an ideal strain for the open ground.

For the highest yield in an indoor grow, we recommend the SOG method. Pots averaging between 7-11L work fine with a few weeks of pre-growth. Finally, make sure you have a good carbon filter system because this strain can reek with great pungency, especially in late flowering!

Orange Hill Special is an exceptional Orange Skunk selection, a new addition to our ‘Orange’ family. She was developed with genetics from our much loved Orange Bud and Californian Orange varieties, two stable customer favourites which date back to the 1980’s. Breeding took place through 6 generations to ensure a stable and strong Orange Skunk with lots of orange hairs at harvest, generous yields and a citrus flavour. This is 50% indica/50% sativa with a 21% THC level which produces a great high with a solid and pleasurably relaxing body stone.

Plants typically stay short, around 1 metre, with lots of sticky buds on the side branches. This is the bushiest and best yielding member of our Orange family. Feeding is light initially, but in bloom she can take strong feed and take 8-9 weeks to finish. Outdoors in warm climates she finishes around mid-October (mid April in Southern Hemisphere). Yields are generous and can be up to 450g from a well grown plant. This is highly recommended for fans of the Orange family, and everyone else, a genuinely special variety with great yields. Developed and produced by the breeder who created Power Plant, The Ultimate, Skunk #11, Euforia and Master Kush. Available in feminized or regular seeds.

Outlaw Amnesia is a top quality old-school Amnesia Haze dominant Sativa that will appeal to both beginners and connoisseur growers alike. She is 80/20 sativa/indica with around 20% THC and is a cross of our Super Haze with a very special clone of Amnesia. The high is powerful and fast with a clear uplifting sativa high and a strong Haze accent. The taste is fresh, sour, strong and old-school Hazy. OutLaw will stretch more than most, she can triple in height during bloom, and grows well with the SCROG method.

Although she can be harvested as early as 9 weeks, a full 12 week flower period may be required for best taste, yield and high. She grows well in all grow mediums with perhaps the best yields in hydro where yields of up to 500g/m2 are possible, classifying this as a high production variety.

Passion #1® comes to you with our highest recommendations. It is one of the best green outdoor varieties available anywhere, and has been ever since it hit the scene in the 1970’s as a legendary Californian Indica. Passion#1® made its way to Dutch Outdoor growers in the 1980’s thanks to Dutch Passion and has established a reputation as a strong, stable strain that is easy to grow. If started early in the season, Passion#1® can reach 3.5m tall, though 2m is more typical. Yields can range from 250 grams to as much as 750g from large plants that can reach staggering proportions when grown in optimum conditions.

When you trim this plant remove only the large fan leavers, the smaller leaves are often dripping with resin. Through a Dutch Passion friend in Belgium, the Dutch Passion breeders team got their hands on one of the fruitiest strains they’ve encountered in a long time. This superb clone came from a beautiful Sweet Pink Grapefruit mother and when sampling the end product of this fruity genetic, our test team were blown away by the smell and taste of this strain. You can both smell and taste where this variety got it’s name from.

The yields of this variety were good, but after our breeders team crossed this individual with an original Orange Bud® clone, yields were increased to the next level and the fruity smell and amazing sweet taste were preserved. The result is something to be proud of and she was announced as “Passion Fruit®” If you are looking for some smokable fruit, then Passion Fruit® is the strain for you.

Pink Banana Runtz is an indica-dominant USA hybrid cross from the ‘Antonio, by Dutch Passion’ collection. This limited edition indica cannabis strain was created by crossing Banana Z (from TerpHogz, the original breeder of the 'Z' genetics) with Gelato #33.

Antonio's goal with this new Runtz cross was to develop Runtz genetics with larger flowers and a higher yield than traditional Runtz varieties on the market (which often have smaller buds). This new cultivar therefore produces relatively large buds, especially the main colas, which can reach large proportions when grown under a good quality LED light.
An easy to grow, high-yielding hybrid with impressive traits

During the vegetative phase, the plants are generally compact and bushy, but once flowering begins, they undergo a good stretch phase. This allows the main buds to protrude nicely above the canopy, absorbing as much light as possible and becoming nicely thick.

The plants are ideal for both natural and SOG cultivation. They can also thrive in a SCROG, but in this case, it is recommended to give them a bit more pre-vegetation time and completely fill the SCROG net before setting the clock to 12/12.

In terms of bud structure, they generally have a more hybrid bud structure with dense buds that are not fluffy at all, but neither are they super compact. This makes them suitable for growing in a wide range of conditions, with slightly better resistance to higher humidity.

Very suitable for beginners. They can even be grown in a greenhouse or outdoors, preferably in warmer/drier regions. This is a cannabis variety that truly shines in a controlled indoor grow with powerful (LED) lights and good (preferably organic) nutrients. The flowering time averages between 8-9 weeks, with an XL yield.
Sweet, creamy terpenes and a powerful, long-lasting high

During the flowering phase, the elongated buds become literally covered in trichomes. From the 3rd to 4th week of flowering, the resin layer will increase rapidly. Towards the end of bloom, the buds are very sticky and aromatic. The refined terpene profile, with primarily sweet, fruity, and creamy notes, is a delight for anyone who loves good cannabis!

The aroma isn't overpowering, but much more subtle than you might expect. However, true connoisseurs will detect notes of tropical fruit, apple, banana, and creamy ice cream. The five most dominant terpenes are caryophyllene, linalool, limonene, humulene, and myrcene. THC levels are always on average well above 20% and even 25% (if grown properly under the right conditions).

This makes the high from this strain very strong and long-lasting, making her ideal for experienced users. It's a hybrid high with both physical and mental effects, slightly euphoric and uplifting, yet also deeply relaxing. In short, a delicious smoke!

For best results, grow her at an average temperature of 20-27o C (68-81F) with an RH of between 50-65% (max. 50% in mid and late flowering). Several phenotypes can develop beautiful pink and light purple hues on the larger leaves and in the sugar leaves towards the end of flowering. This creates a truly unique appearance and lives up to its name. Try our Pink Banana Runtz now!
Sour Fruit Tartare F1 – Limited Edition Freebie

Due to the positive community feedback on the freebies from the 2024 Limited Drop, Dutch Passion include a free Sour Fruit Tartare F1 seed with every 5-pack of Pink Banana Runtz ‘Antonio by Dutch Passion’ Limited Edition seeds.

Sour Fruit Tartare originated following years of selection with a cup-winning Fruit Tartare #4 clone crossed with a Rosso Corsa. These Fruit Tartare x Rosso Corsa F2 regular seeds were originally developed by Alice, a grower friend of Antonio's from Italy.

After Antonio himself conducted multiple stress and lab tests over a two-year period, three phenotypes emerged as winners. All with purple buds and their own unique characteristics. Antonio, in turn, crossed the selected plants with a purple, potent mother plant selected from a Sour Trop BX1 line, also called Sour Tropicana Cookies (originally from Oni Seeds).

The result is impressive, and this new cultivar can rightly be described as super sour. Think very sour, sometimes with chemical notes like Ajax cleaner, Lysol, or Dettol complemented by fruity hints of passion fruit, guava, red fruit and blueberry. Depending on the phenotype, this can sometimes lean towards red wine or even rotten fruit. All this creates a completely new and extremely pungent terpene profile with a certain dankness you've probably never smelled or tasted in cannabis before!

Combine this with the beautiful purple, rose and dark hues in the buds, and you have a truly special cultivar! With a flowering time of around 9 weeks, this is a relatively fast sativa-dominant hybrid. Potency is medium to high, with THC averaging around 15% and peaking at 20% with a relaxed chilled effect. But the terpenes and unique flavour are what this strain is really all about!

Kindly note that with every 5-pack of feminised Pink Banana Runtz seeds, you'll receive a randomly selected free feminised Sour Fruit Tartare F1 seed — either phenotype #8 or #16.

We’d love to hear what you think! Share your feedback with Antonio and the Dutch Passion team by scanning the QR code on the packaging.

Happy growing — we look forward to your feedback!

Released in 1997, Power Plant became an instant success. A heavy yielding and highly stable classic. Power Plant is a mostly sativa variety from South Africa, the original version is only available from Dutch Passion. It is a heavy yielder for indoor, greenhouse and outdoor gardens (does well in Mediterranean climates) with bumper yields of 500-600 grams/m2. She is popular with recreational and medical users and remains a pure and stable strain with a well deserved reputation.

When first released every coffeeshop wanted Power Plant on their menu and she is still found in Dutch coffeeshops today. Power Plant is rich in THC and delivers a formidable strong “up‟ high with a fresh flavour, smooth smoke and sweet aftertaste. Indoor bloom takes 8-10 weeks. The plants reach 1-1.5m tall and the buds are often 30+cm long, with small leaves in them.

Purple#1® is the world famous classic original purple variety that dates back to the early 1980’s and has been treasured for it’s uniquely beautiful purple colourings and great high. Used extensively by other seedbanks for breeding, our original Purple#1® plant is a 50/50 sativa/indica mix. The indica parentage comes from a very special purple Afghani which was carefully crossed in Holland with some top indica and sativa strains to create a strong outdoor plant that is fully adapted to the Dutch climate.

Yields are a reasonable 250-350 grams per plant, the calyx’s turn purple quickly as flowering begins and the buds are complemented by sweet and sticky small purple leaves that grow amongst the resin soaked purple buds. Purple #1® is typically 1.5m-2.5m tall, it is for outdoors/greenhouse only and is an early finisher. The fan leaves are often sativa-like in appearance and show amazing purple colours.

This variety has had it’s own dedicated fanbase for several decades and remains a popular and beautifully distinctive strain some 30 years after it was first released. Purple#1® gives a sticky, fruity purple-streaked ganja that has a superb fast-hitting high. The high isn’t the longest lasting but this is more than compensated for by the quality of the experience. It is more of an ‘up’ high than a stone with a somewhat rough, yet subtle, aroma. A great choice for those seeking a fast-finishing tough outdoor variety that combines striking purple buds with a fresh and potent high.

Red Tropicana Cookies is a feminised photoperiod cross of two vigorous and potent sisters from a Sour Tropicana Cookies selection. In the offspring of this USA cannabis strain you will find characteristics of Sour Diesel, Tropicana and Cookie genetics.

The mother in this cross is a fast-growing Sativa with compact buds and a unique appearance. During the growth phase she develops beautiful slender leaves with a red vein in the centre of the leaf, this is where she gets her ‘Red’ name from. In late bloom the leaves can darken, and the completely white buds stand out beautifully against the dark coloured leaves.

The father is a (reversed) female cannabis plant that is known for beautiful, purple-coloured buds with a special aroma. These can sometimes be red, purple or even pink hues and these ladies are both a pleasure to look at and to smell during flowering!

This is certainly not your standard weed smell, intense notes of fruit, cream and cookie dough are complemented by a certain funkiness from the Sour Diesel parent. This really takes the taste to a new level. Pungent sweet and sour notes contrast with chemical notes of gasoline & jet-fuel. The most dominant terpenes in this cross are caryophyllene, linalool, humulene, limonene and myrcene (in no particular order).

The flowering time averages between 63 and 70 days. Indoor growers can expect plants with a good stretch when the light cycle is switched to 12/12. Red Tropicana Cookies also does very well in a greenhouse or an outdoor grow in warm and dry areas! She always remains controllable (especially for a Sativa) and her height can be further controlled by snapping, bending or (super)cropping. Due to her Sativa leaf and growth profile she is perfectly suited to a SCROG grow.

In terms of potency, she averages between 19-23% THC, but there are known outliers that have exceeded 26%! Although she has an extremely high THC level, the effect of this strain remains relaxed and chilled. She is slightly euphoric and energetic but never becomes too trippy or racy.

Red Tropicana Cookies R1 is a new limited edition from Dutch Passion made in collaboration with Antonio especially for 420 in 2025.

Skywalker Haze is a plant that can stretch a bit and may take 9-10 weeks to finish. She is not a fussy eater, has a great leaf-to-bud ratio and guarantees high-quality harvests for both home and commercial growers worldwide.

This time available in a pack of 3 feminised seeds instead of the usual 5-seed pack like the other ‘limited drops by Antonio’ from Dutch Passion.

The strain is a cross of Antonio’s Slurmint mother. This was originally from Inhouse Genetics, consisting of Slurricane x Slurmint (Slurricane x Platinum Kush Mints), which also forms the basis for the Slush Mint Cake, but this time crossed with Antonio’s Sour Tropicana Cookies BX1 (originally from Oni Seeds).

The Slurmint mother has super-compact buds, is extremely potent and features a penetrating gas and candy-like profile. The Sour Tropicana Cookies is also gassy and diesel-like with very sour fruity tones. The combination hits the bullseye!

Together with the purple accents in the buds, Slurricane Cookies creates a truly beautiful appearance and a flavourful terpene profile. If you love beautiful compact buds that are fully covered in a thick layer of trichomes and a powerful gassy & fruity terpene profile, these cannabis seeds will definitely not disappoint!

Why should I buy Slush Mint Cake feminised seeds?

Slush Mint Cake is an extremely potent hybrid USA cultivar with an intense terpene profile and a very high THC level of between 23-27% on average. Even more is possible in ideal conditions.

This Indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain has super compact buds that smell and taste powerful. If you like that intense Cali weed experience, then you have come to the right place. Notes of sweet candy, creamy ice-cream, and sour fruit come together in this beautiful American cross.

Slush Mint Cake has a relatively fast flowering time of 8-9 weeks on average. The buds are super white and very photogenic. In addition, they are easy to cut and manicure with unique bag appeal.

An XL yield marking means seriously impressive yields are possible. The hybrid effect is strong, long-lasting and has a fantastic head-high in addition to a relaxed body stone. The high is a great combination of both a strong physical and euphoric mental effect.

Antonio’s rigorous pheno-hunting and lab-backed approach guarantee consistency, with Slush Mint Cake already capturing the 2025 Highlife Cup’s “Mostly Indica” category.

Slush Mint Cake has a very pungent and intense aroma with a predominantly candy, gassy and creamy terpene profile with both sweet, sour and fruity notes

Slush Mint Cake really has a very pungent and intense terpene profile! This American Indica dominant hybrid has a powerful sweet and sour, gassy and fruity aroma with overlying notes of candy and creamy ice-cream.

Actually, all phenotypes smell incredibly strong and powerful, some have that real 'stinky & gassy' intense Cali scent profile, comparable to the intensity of a GMO-type strain for example. There are phenotypes that are a bit more reminiscent of the Ice Cream Cake genetics, here too you can easily recognise the pungent Cali-weed scent. In general, this aroma seems a bit fruitier and more like forest fruits mixed with cream. Very tasty both in the vape and in a joint!

The most dominant terpenes in this strain are limonene, linalool, caryophyllene, myrcene, humulene and pinene. In addition, there is also a relatively large amount of fenchol and terpinolene in the buds. There are also trace amounts of camphene, ocimene, farsene, nerolidol, menthone. And in half of the plants small amounts of geraniol can be found. All plants get beautiful hard, compact flowers that glisten with trichomes!

If you like potent, compact buds with unique bag appeal then this is the strain for you! She smells and tastes fantastic and her 25%+ THC levels ensures that she hits you delightfully hard.
Slush Mint Cake is a potent Indica dominant USA cultivar with an XL yield, this new American hybrid has a sky high THC level and a very tasty terpene profile

Slush Mint Cake is an Indica dominant hybrid cannabis strain that grows relatively fast and still has a fair stretch during the flowering phase which ultimately results in an XL yield. The end product however is why you should grow this strain. She is very rich in terpenes (2-2.5%) and her sky-high THC level of 23-27+% on average makes for a very powerful high and effect. Fun guaranteed!
What exactly are the genetics in Slush Mint Cake?

Slush Mint Cake® is a new American hybrid that came from a special breeding project by Antonio who has dozens of cannabis cups and one of Europe’s best independent collections of elite genetics. This strain was created by crossing a Slurmint mother with the well-known and award-winning Ice Cream Cake genetics.

The Slurmint mother comes from a ‘pheno-hunt’ of the Slurmint IX, which is a cross between a cup winning Slurricane and a Platinum Kush Mints. The Slurricane (also known as Purple Punch x Do-si-dos) is an incredibly potent and compact USA strain that is praised for the highest quality flowers with exceptional bag appeal.

By crossing this again with a stable Platinum Kush Mints, a very high-quality product has been developed. The Slurmint has been popular with growers and smokers in Antonio’s collective for years. By crossing her with the Ice Cream Cake genetics, a new strain has been created that is unparalleled!

Do you like very pungent Cali weed? Then this is your chance to grow a unique product that is guaranteed to please all growers and smokers.
Slush Mint Cake is a vigorous, stable USA-inspired cross with a large XL yield and exceptional bag appeal

Slush Mint Cake is a new USA-inspired hybrid cross to savour. The bud quality is the real reason that this strain is so highly praised. She is truly a beautiful cannabis seed to grow and the terpene-rich buds are literally bursting with trichomes. Because the flowers grow so compactly, she is easy to manicure. The dried cannabis buds have exceptional bag appeal that would not look out of place at a cannabis cup!

In terms of growth pattern, she most resembles a hybrid with a reasonable dose of Indica genes. This is most evident during the cannabis flowering phase, where you will clearly recognise her Indica background by the compactness of the buds. During the vegetative growth phase and the beginning of bloom, you will see that Slush Mint Cake can develop large leaves. These leaves usually have slightly longer stems than normal. This is a typical characteristic of this strain.

Slushie also has a somewhat stretched growth pattern. So using LST (Low Stress Training) or HST (High Stress Training) growing techniques is recommended to keep this lady under control. It is best to grow her with the SCROG method (screen of green) and support her with nets.

During the late flowering phase, the blooms become top-heavy and can sometimes collapse under their own weight. Most plants will continue to stretch for about 2 to 3 weeks following switching the light to a 12/12 cannabis light cycle in an indoor grow.

Outdoors she will also continue to stretch for a relatively longer period at the start of the flowering phase. This makes for large XL plants that will yield an average of between 0.5-1kg (1-2lbs) of dry buds. Especially when grown in a sunny and dry climate. The average flowering time is between 8 and 9 weeks.

The flowers of this strain are bright white and very sticky! If you look at the buds with a microscope you can imagine yourself in a winter wonderland! In general Slush Mint Cake has an average-to-large internode distance. This makes the buds grow more as individuals rather than merging together. The main blooms can become very full and thick, and despite their slightly smaller size, they can weigh quite a bit.

The genetics used for Slush Mint Cake guarantee the following properties:

A vigorous and relatively fast flowering Indica dominant hybrid with very compact buds ('rock-hard') with a favourable flower-to-leaf ratio

Slush Mint Cake is an extremely potent weed strain with an intense terpene profile, very suitable for lovers of 'Cali-weed'

This is a feminised seed variety with a unique growth pattern, with decent stretch and longer leaf stems which is very characteristic for this strain. The flowers are easy to cut and manicure due to the high density

Slush Mint Cake is a strain that excels in a SCROG cultivation. If you grow her in the natural way, it is recommended to support the buds with yo-yos or rope. A support net can also provide a solution. In general Slush Mint Cake can be thought of as a good yielder with buds of the finest quality.
Effects of Slush Mint Cake

Slush Mint Cake is known for her extremely high total cannabinoid (THC & all other cannabinoids) profile averaging around 30-35% combined with a high terpene content averaging between 2-3%. This rare combination provides an extremely powerful effect and potent high.

Because this is an Indica dominant cross, the effect has a powerful, yet relaxing, effect. These effects lean more towards a body-stone but without feeling sluggish or sleepy. Unless you consume too much of course, then she can deliver a real knock-out punch. But as long as you use this strain in moderation, she will give you a wonderfully relaxing body-high. The hybrid high feels both slightly euphoric and uplifting and that will put a big smile on your face!

Due to the very high THC level, this is a strain that is recommended for the more experienced users who want to get well stoned - nice & high with intense enjoyability. She is a hybrid cannabis seed variety with a hybrid effect that is perfect for both day and night use.

Great to relax with after a stressful day at work or after dinner when you feel like an evening of Netflix & Chill or playing your favourite games. Slush Mint Cake provides a long-lasting high that you can enjoy endlessly. And because she tastes so great, you really can't get enough of her!
Slush Mint Cake flowering time

Slush Mint Cake has an average flowering time of around 8-9 weeks. However, you can sometimes see plants that need a week longer to fully ripen, especially during an outdoor grow or a less-than-optimal indoor grow. In these cases, bloom time is closer to 9-10 weeks. So long as your indoor climate is well-controlled and the cultivation goes smoothly, most phenotypes will need between 8-9 weeks to be ready for harvest.

She can withstand colder temperatures (16-22oC, 60-70F) quite well, but this can delay the flowering time a little. For the best results, grow her in an optimised climate of around 20-25oC /68-77F. Outdoors, it is recommended to grow Slush Mint Cake only in dry, sunnier and warmer climates. She can easily tolerate outdoor temperatures of 30-35oC / 86-95F.
However, she is totally unsuitable for free, open ground cultivation in the colder and wetter northern/southern latitudes. Due to the compactness and high density of the buds, the chance of bud rot and mould is relatively high.

In these climates, she can be grown outdoors in pots or in a greenhouse with good ventilation. Outdoor growing in borderline climates using containers requires a lot of extra attention during bloom. This is because it will be necessary to repeatedly move plants indoors/under-cover during periods of bad weather.

When grown in a sunny and warm climate, she can grow into very large proportions with true XXL yields. And even outdoors/in a greenhouse, the quality of the buds is so high that they are hardly distinguishable from indoor-grown!
The yield of Slush Mint Cake

Slush Mint Cake has a high XL yield in a relatively short flowering time. The buds can become quite full and hard but are usually average in size. However, these buds have a very high density and because they become so compact they carry quite a bit of weight. The flowers usually have an average-to-large internode distance and therefore never grow completely closed. They grow more like individual buds on the stem.

In an indoor grow, Slush Mint Cake can provide large harvests. A yield of around 500g/m2 (15oz per square yard) is usually certainly achievable. In the hands of an expert, even more is possible and with the help of the right growing method (SCROG) you can even reach around 600-650g/m2 (18-19oz per square yard).

Outdoors, plants grown in a warm and sunny climate will yield around 1kg/2lbs per plant, especially when they have been properly pre-grown indoors before the outdoor season has started. Outdoors, it is best to SCROG her and/or provide her with support nets. Because the buds become very heavy and compact and can bend at the end!
Advice from our experts:

Slush Mint Cake is an Indica dominant hybrid cannabis seed variety that grows and blooms with great vigour. Her branches grow quickly with the characteristic long leaf stems. These longer stems let the leaves stand further outwards, away from the plant.

In a compact indoor grow you will want to remove some leaves occasionally, especially in a scrog. But in an outdoor grow this extra space ensures better ventilation and light penetration. She generally has a somewhat stretchy and 'leggy' growth profile. This should be considered when considering the layout of the grow space and the final height of the plants.

However, this stretching makes her absolutely ideal for growing with the SCROG method. With this you can also achieve the highest yields. If you can SCROG well and have managed to fill the SCROG net, you will be surprised at her harvest potential.

She is not the easiest or most predictable plant to grow. This makes her a little less suitable for beginners but more for experienced expert growers who know how to slow down and manipulate plants when desired. During the late flowering phase, always provide a dry climate of around 40-50% RH with sufficient ventilation. This is necessary since the buds can become genuinely rock-hard.

We also recommend not to squeeze the buds too often during the flowering phase, because once you have smelled that delicious scent profile you will not be able to keep your hands (and nose) off the buds!

Slush Mint Cake BX1 is the regular seed version of the highly sought-after, super-potent, USA-dominant Highlife cup winning feminised Slush Mint Cake seeds, created by Antonio. This regular hybrid was developed by backcrossing Antonio's Slush Mint Cake (In House Genetics Slurmint x Ice Cream Cake) with his coveted Ice Cream Cake male parent.

This backcross preserves the outstanding qualities of the original mother's genetics such as dense, sticky, frosty buds, a pungent terpene profile & extremely high cannabinoid levels. After completing a series of independent lab tests we found this regular seed BX1 version to be even more potent than the feminised seed original. THC levels can reach over 28% (delta-9 THC), some of the highest we've ever encountered in all our years of professional collaboration with various European labs.

This makes Slush Mint Cake BX1 regular seeds an excellent strain for experienced smokers and growers who appreciate the highest THC levels. Moreover, it meets & exceeds the same high standards as the cannabis cup winning feminised seed version of Slush Mint Cake.

It has a strong aroma and a delicious taste of sweet fruity candy with gassy notes & hints of creamy ice cream. It's easy to handle and fulfils everything you'd want in a Cali weed strain with the best bag appeal and the most powerful high. The five most dominant terpenes are typically limonene, myrcene, linalool, caryophyllene and pinene.

When grown correctly, the buds are truly rock-hard and will certainly make an appearance in many-a-cannabis cup. Flowering time averages around nine weeks, but there are also slightly faster plants available, requiring between 56 and 60 days under a 12/12 indoor light cycle.

The flowers are absolutely packed with trichomes. Growers/extractors who enjoy making cannabis concentrates from their buds will be very pleasantly surprised by the yields when making (live) hash or rosin. Simply pressing the dried flowers directly achieves high returns.

The high is very powerful and long-lasting; this is definitely not a strain for the novice smoker. True connoisseurs will be treated to a strong head high and a wonderfully relaxing body stone. Thanks to the indica-dominant genetics this has a relaxing physical effect without feeling sluggish. It's also slightly euphoric and uplifting - making Slush Mint Cake BX1 perfect for use throughout the day. Relaxing on the couch, gaming, fulfilling creative tasks or enjoying nature—it's all possible.

StarRyder® is the product of a very successful project between Dutch Passion and the Joint Doctor. The collaboration took a few years to create this outstanding autoflower variety. An exceptional Dutch Passion Isis clone, a premium sativa with a first class “high”, was carefully hybridised by Joint Doctor with one of his best indica dominant automatics. The result is a very potent autoflower variety. The first part of the name refers to the outstanding quality and performance, a real Star. The second part of the name refers to the Joint Doctor, the autoflowering pioneer and producer of the original LowRyder.

StarRyder® grows like a compact Christmas tree, producing large resinous buds, growing to around 50cm tall and yielding 45 to 100 grams to the average grower. Experienced autoflower growers can yield over 100 grams per plant growing in soil or coco. Yields of over 200 grams per plant are possible with hydro methods such as DWC (Deep Water Culture) in the hands of the very best growers who will be able to grow plants around 1m tall. The THC content is around 15 to 19% which is special for an autoflower variety. The “high” is described as powerful and fast hitting. The taste is smooth and sweet.

The “Strawberry Cough” genetics are of North American origin and partly uniquely European. “Strawberry Cough” is a hybrid between an Indica and a Sativa. From this hybrid we made a selection having about 80% Sativa influences. We have used this selection for the production of our “Strawberry Cough” Seeds. Our “Production and Research Team” has succeeded in creating the fruitiest variety imaginable. The fresh strawberry taste and aroma are very evident and wonderful to experience. Strawberry has an “up high” effect of medium THC-strength. The plants are beautiful to look at. The total flowering time takes about 9 weeks. The first and most powerful growth spurt of flowers ends in week four, the second at week 9. “Strawberry Cough” is easy to grow and does not need a strong fertilizing scheme. Standard fertilizing will do for good results. Individual plants will grow to medium height. Are you ready for the “Strawberry Experience”?

Everybody loves to see glistening trichomes on their ladies. Some strains look frostier than others. One good example of a strain covered in sparkling trichomes, in which the cannabinoids are stored, is Sugar Bomb Punch.

Genetics come from THC Bomb x (Critical Orange Punch x Bubba Island Kush). This combination stands for 20%+ THC levels, a euphoric couch-lock stone and flowers covered with huge quantities of dense, glistening trichomes.
This short, indica dominant plant grows quickly into a short body builder. In just 9 weeks, she will be fully matured and harvest ready, leaves may darken towards the end. Typically, there are 4 phenotypes. Keep an eye out for the shortest one. She may look small, but it's not about size. The dense, dank and ultra-strong buds are heavier than one might expect. Often a small bud that appears sufficient for one joint is enough for two after grinding.
