Grand Daddy Purple (aka Grand Daddy Purps) is one of the most popular Indica strains on the west coast and is perhaps the most well known ‘purple’ cannabis strain in the US.

Created back in 2003 by Ken Estes in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ken and his team sought out to create the ultimate Indica hybrid by merging two strains with fantastic genetics – Purple Urkle and Big Bud. The product of these two, Grand Daddy Purple, is a spitting image of it’s parents’ two best qualities – the deep and dark purple hue from Purple Urkle and the overgrown, dense buds of Big Bud. Grand Daddy Purple grows best indoors but can be grown outside as well. Flowering commences usually around 70-77 days when grown indoors and growers can expect harvest in early October when grown outdoors.

The oversized buds may begin to weigh down the plant, especially if grown outdoors. When grown indoors the plant should be short and stocky enough to hold the weight but you may want to prepared to offer some support around the 60 day mark if you notice the buds beginning to wear down the plant’s frame.  

Yields can top 4 ounces per plant on an indoor grow and well over 3 pounds per plant on an outdoor grow. For optimal results keep temperatures within the 70’s throughout the grow cycle and keep humidity between 50-55%. 

Grand Daddy Purple Green

VADER HAZE  is a cross of  Space Alien, Purple Haze, and Blue Dream  the lineage is said to have some green crack that was added later on giving this a true Hybrid Vigor when you grow this strain.  THC levels have not yet been lab documented or provided to us here at NukeHeads. We are told THC ranges from 21% – 26% and the aromatics are a citrus lime smell with a chem dog like taste with some sweetness in the smoke thats floral and unique. If you like drinking fine liquor , beer, or wine , this particular strain pairs very nicely with beer especially IPA drinkers who want some extra hoppy like notes. This strain will be sure to give you more than enough excitement in a drink session. We advise smoking this from a wood pipe. Now for growing buds can take 9 weeks to finish out properly but use your wiser assesment by monitoring trichomes as some plants finish faster than others. Bud structure is nice and dense our samples were DWC hydroponic grown and the bud nodes came out very hard and dense. The plant doesn’t do well outdoors as shown in a photo above it doesn’t get the girth it does indoor. It’s surely a PPFD hog and takes some light intensity and likes it. About Purple Haze THAT WAS CROSSED WITH PURPLE DAWN 

Acting funny and you don’t know why? It may be because you just enjoyed some potent Purple Haze. Purple Haze is a sativa-leaning strain that takes its name from its lineage and from Jimi Hendrix’s 1967 song. This bud is thought to be a distinct phenotype of staple strain Haze, although some cannabis enthusiasts trace its lineage to a cross between Haze and an unspecified purple-flowering indica. In any case, the bud offers mentally stimulating effects as well as a complex, berry-like taste.

Purple Haze makes its appeal clear right off the bad, with medium to large-sized flowers that maintain a spade-like form, tapering down from a broad base to a pointed tip. True to their sativa heritage, these buds have a relatively loose structure, with their soft and fluffy-looking leaves spiraling loosely outward from their central stems. Herijuana is a descendant of a Humboldt County strain called Petrolia Headstash, an Indica of Afghani origins and a Kentucky landrace hybrid (possibly Killer New Haven).
In 2006, Sannie of Sannie’s seeds inherited Herijuana, also called Herojuana, from Motarebel when the breeder had to take a hiatus from growing. Motarebel had acquired Herijuana from Woodhorse Seeds and had carefully tweaked the strain to perfection. Sannie and Motarebel often traded and worked on genetics together, so it was only natural for him to take the temporarily orphaned strain.
Herijuana can have nearly 25% THC in a 100 milligram sample, and as a result it can have a positive effect on both head and body. It may be thought-provoking and meditative, and it can alleviate stress and anxiety. This strain may help regulate mood disorders, including chronic depression.
The numbing effect on the body relieves pain and eases muscle twitches and spasms. Herijuana may also help with ADD/ADHD, migraines, and arthritis. Eventually, its sedative effects can put users into a deep sleep.
This strain, which smells like spicy earth, is recommended for growing indoors but some have had success in cultivating it outdoors. Like the original photo-period White Widow, this strain grows wide, dark green leaves and is dusted with a heavy coating of resin by the end of the flowering phase. White Widow Automatic replicates many characteristics of the original WW, but takes only 75–85 days total crop time! The main differences with our variant are its compact size, fast growth, and slightly more stoney, physical effects.

The buds, despite their hybrid genetics, display an indica appearance and effect. White Widow Automatic has a woody, pungent, earthy aroma and taste, similar to but not as strong as White Widow.
