Highwayman
Highwayman effects are mostly energizing.
Highwayman is a cross of William’s Wonder and Tang Tang created by Colorado breeder Tierra Rojo and supposedly named in honor of Willie Nelson and the rest of the famed outlaw country supergroup, the Highwaymen. An even mix of sativa and indica genetics, it produces an uplifting, creative head high along with a subtle body buzz and aromas of chocolate and coffee. This strain can be beneficial in treating pain, anxiety, and depression.

Highwayman strain reviews(28)
I thought long and hard about the 4 star rating, because it was closer to a 4.5.
(I docked it, .1 points for potency in a Crumble)
After a week or so, with my Bedford Grow IL med HIGHWAYMAN
I noticed it was evening/bedtime smoke. Almost too evening for bedtime.
A little up and creative leading to, well, sleep.
A very nice 2-dimensional strain.
Refreshing at low doses,
Leading to relaxed mellow that can help sleep.
It's my first product from Bedford Grow Illinois, and I am not disappointed, but I have had better
It's not an award winner, but I feel like my money was well spent.
Oh Yeah, taste? Can't help you much here, tastes like crumble - sweet, chalky, floral - to me,
A 49 year old 'Head'
It tastes like 40's in 1980, 60's in 1995, and trash in the 2005 BC Bud explosion out of WA State.
WOW. Highway man is a top 10 daytime strain for me after the first 2 bowls. The balance between sativa and indica effects is the closest to what I've been searching for in ny "unicorn" hybrid.
Sight - LOADED with sweet trichomes, lime green and evergreen in color with scattered thicc orange pistils and some pretty lavender hues
Touch - firm. Some THICC, dense, BIG BOI budsies; these girls def workout.
Aroma - Lemon lime, nutty, floral, herbal, citrus and slightly tropical.
Taste - earthy, herbal, cheese, blueberry, LAVENDAAAAA & a hint of pineapple & tobacco
Sensation - Onset is immediate and uplifting, but gradual like a firm hug from a strong-armed individual. Euphoria begins to set in and you start to appreciate your surroundings; senses aren't overly stimulated. Mind is clear, creative, prescriptive. Great conversation and company could be had. High is not overpowering, but strong enough to alleviate pain & nausea, especially from gastrointestinal diseases like Crohns & colitis. Indica effects really help make pain less noticeable while being more aware of your body & surroundings. I feel fairly blissful, but motivated to finish up the bullshit before watching THE GOAT have his 7th finger graced with a ring. IF U SEE THIS, JUST BUY IT.
Purchased @The Botanist, The WOO, MA
My experience with Highwayman was an several eighths by The Botanist. Purchased 2/5/23, packaged on 12/20/22, expiration date of 11/22/23, and this review is a collective of this same batch. Last consumed on 7/4/23. Had it several times since February 2023.
Highwayman is a smooth-smoking flower. Taste is very pleasant, with a hint of earthy coffee. Effects are decent enough, but I find this strain to be slightly underperforming for its THC level of 27.9%. Of course, at the time of this review, the flower is now seven months old. I purposely left it as is for a test. Because of The Botanist lack of inner seal and humidity pack, their flower degrades quickly, even when stored in the proper conditions surrounding it. I wasn't that enamored with it back in February, but I like to sample enough before I say it's not all that. Decent enough, but still an underperformer for me, for the most part.
