Schwazzing

A form of extreme defoliation, in which the entire canopy of fan leaves is removed from a set of cannabis plants. The process was popularized in Joshua Haupt’s 2015 book Three a Light, a reference meaning a grower can get three pounds of cannabis per light through the process of schwazzing, or about double a normal harvest. Schwazzing is a high-risk procedure and not recommended for beginning growers.
