CBD Compassion® is a Sativa dominant CBD-rich variety made by crossing a Nepalese strain with an un-named sativa. Ratio of CBD:THC is between 1:1 and 4:1. Usually the CBD is present in greater quantities than THC. Plants grow to medium height and offer medium/above average yields of resinous and aromatic cannabis.  At the end the leaves show long slender fingers. Cannabis (or concentrates) produced from this variety is rich in CBD and delivers a strong body effect.

Although CBD Compassion® has been developed primarily with medical users in mind, recreational cannabis users report a paranoia-free strong body stone. It’s a smooth, anti-anxiety experience which allows you to function well with pain relief and tranquility. This is the most sativa influenced CBD variety in our collection, which affects bloom time. Indoors, she is ready to harvest after 9-11 weeks, outdoors she is ready to harvest in November.

CBD Compassion

CBD Compassion® is a Sativa dominant CBD-rich variety made by crossing a Nepalese strain with an un-named sativa.

CBD Glueberry is a delicious CBD rich variety with CBD content around and upwards of 13%. THC is below 0.2%. There is no psychoactive high due to the lack of THC. But the CBD rich buds have a beautiful berry-fruit taste and resinous appearance. These CBD rich Glueberry buds look just like traditional cannabis buds and have a rich aroma. The CBD rich cannabis flowers are supplied in FreshFlower® containers which preserve the aroma and taste of the sticky CBD nuggets.

CBD Glueberry is a delicious CBD rich variety with CBD content around and upwards of 13%. THC is below 0.2%.

A variety produced in cooperation with the CBD Crew. CBD Kush is a CBD rich variety.  Ratio of CBD:THC is between 1:1 and 4:1. Usually the CBD is present in greater quantities than THC. This variety was produced by crossing a THC rich Kandy Kush selection with a CBD dominant strain.  The variety has a mix of indica and sativa genetics but the growth pattern generally shows an indica dominant appearance with good yields and a satisfying flavour.  Plants generally reach around 100cm tall.

This is a variety which will appeal to medical users looking for a CBD strain, but we also expect some recreational growers will be attracted to the strong body stone and the pleasurable and manageable high.

The need for high quality CBD strains that are low in THC (<1%) is still increasing. Dutch Passion can hardly keep up with the demand for the industry's leading CBD strain, CBD Charlotte's Angel and have decided to add another member to the high-CBD low-THC cannabis seed collection.
Dutch Passion have crossed the sativa dominant, best selling CBD Charlotte's Angel with one of their most stable strains, namely the classic indica-dominant Mazar.

CBD Mazar is slightly lower in CBD than CBD Charlotte's Angel. CBD Mazar produces approximately 10-13% CBD, but THC content is always below 1%. On average CBD Mazar shows around 0.4-0.5% THC.

Because of the indica traits that have been bred into this medical variety, Dutch Passion reduced flowering time by a week compared to CBD Charlotte's Angel, so 8 weeks instead of 9. Outdoors she finishes at the end of September.

Production potential can be classified as ‘Large’. Buds are hard and dense. The terpene profile leans towards the earthy, kushy and spicy side of the spectrum. As this plant is quite resinous, she can be used for extraction purposes and making oils.

CBD Mazar

CBD Orange Punch flowers have a sweet citrus taste and a fragrant skunky fruit aroma. CBD levels in these sticky CBD buds is around the mid teens, THC levels are below 0.2%. Without THC these buds won’t get you high, but they look and smell like high quality cannabis flowers. The CBD rich marijuana flowers are supplied in child-proof and odor-proof FreshFlower® containers to protect the quality of the CBD weed.

CBD Orange Punch flowers have a sweet citrus taste and a fragrant skunky fruit aroma.

CBD Skunk Haze® comes from a project between Dutch Passion and CBD Crew. The goal was to achieve a CBD rich variety useful for medical growers. For medical use low %THC is preferred for some medical patients who want a relaxing and high quality genuine cannabis effect without the intensity that some high THC varieties give. Recreational users find that high CBD levels give a very comfortable and smooth high without anxiety or paranoia. Ratio of CBD:THC is between 1:1 and 4:1. Usually the CBD is present in greater quantities than THC. To create this variety our Haze/Skunk (winner of the 1992 High Times Cannabis Cup) was carefully crossed with a high CBD variety.

CBD Skunk Haze® produces large tall plants. This Sativa/Indica cross (50/50) produces large buds which are not too dense. The aroma and taste are of spicy cedar wood alongside tones of citrus, pine and mint. CBD Skunk Haze® grows well Indoors and in a greenhouse. The flowering period is approximately 10 weeks and yields up to 450 grams/m2 are possible under ideal conditions.

Critical Orange Punch is a feminized photoperiod seed variety, the first Dutch Passion strain based on outstanding Kritikal Bilbo genetics from Spain. The breeding began by crossing elite cuttings of Grandaddy Purps and Orange Bud (Orange Punch). The result was a supreme smoke with great taste but below-average yields. When this was further crossed with an XXL yielding THC rich Critical, the yields were dramatically improved thanks to the Critical growth vigor. Critical Orange Punch has a rich skunky citrus taste and an Afghan-hash aroma along with a long lasting powerful euphoric high. It’s an easy, stable XXL yielding variety to grow. She grows easily under a wide range of nutrient/growing conditions reaching around 1.5m indoors, taking just 7-8 weeks to bloom with commercial yields of rock hard, sticky buds. It’s a perfect, potent and easy feminized seed variety for fast XXL harvests.

Desfrán is a legendary variety in South America and a multiple prize winner of many cannabis cups. Desfrán is the result of crossing Destroyer with Destroyer, she was  originally a 3-way crossing of Mexican Oaxaca, Colombian Punto Rojo and Meao Thai and comes to Dutch Passion thanks to Alberto from Argentina.  Alberto is a Master Grower, Cannabis Connoisseur and owner of Haze Magazine. Our first project together was to introduce Desfrán to Europe.

During vegetative growth Desfrán needs little nutrition. She grows well in soil especially with plenty of root space, and grows vigorously in other grow methods too. Desfrán is 100% Sativa so she can grow very tall and develops long branches which can dominate the airspace/growroom in no time. In vegetative growth the stem can produce intense fruity aromas when rubbed.

During flower she stretches and can triple her height. Desfrán is very resinous variety suited for SOG and SCROG grow methods and usually takes 9-10 weeks to flower. Desfrán has a fruity aroma like pear and green apples, the taste is like enjoying a pear caramel with hints of grape and melon.  Desfrán produces unusually dense and compact flowers for a Sativa. When dried, the flowers look like glazed pinecones. Early harvest can result in a very cerebral and psychedelic high, if you harvest Desfrán late she tastes sweeter and is a true destroyer. Dutch Passion original Durban Poison® is a classic outdoor and indoor variety, tough enough for outdoor growing in extreme Northern/Southern latitudes. She was brought to Holland from South Africa and was inbred over many years during the 70’s. With each generation Durban Poison® became increasingly adapted to the windy and rainy conditions of Northern Europe. During the breeding process some unknown indica genetics have been crossed with Durban. Durban may initially show wide indica style leaves but the growth pattern allows the sativa dominance to show by the end with long blooms pierced by slim sativa-style leaves.


Durban Poison® is ready to harvest after 8-9 weeks indoors. Outdoors she can reach 2-3 metres tall and is harvested around the start of Autumn. With enough root space Durban develops strong side branches which will carry heavy resinous blooms. The plant development, harvest appearance and energising, uplifting high are typically sativa. Durban Poison® has a spicy, hazy taste with hints of aniseed, liquorice and cloves. The buds are often dark green and resistant to mold and pests. Very potent and consistent with good yields.

Euforia is a special strain that came from our 1996 Skunk breeding program. Euforia is heavy yielding and easy to grow indoors or outdoors. Indoors she is ready to harvest after 8-10 weeks of bloom, outdoors she is harvested around the end of October/early November. Euforia is noted for the special anti-anxiety euphoric high, great for pain relief and easy to clone.

The plants are 1-1.5m tall, with a fresh smell and a rich skunky taste. The calyx to leaf ratio is roughly 50/50. THC levels are around or above 20% which makes this potent in the extreme. Freddy was one of Dutch Passions original ‘Masters At Work’, he is now retired but his legacy lives on. Freddy’s Best was his last variety and it is one for the sativa fans. It combines Chocolope, Dutch Haze and other sativa/Haze genetics into a very powerful variety noted for hard, dense buds that are produced in good quantities.

OG Kush

GMO Fast is a so-called ‘fast’ feminised seed version of the Garlic Cookies strain, sometimes known as GMO (Garlic Cookies). Our search for a super potent and pungent GMO strain led us to create this unique fast cultivar. For this, the Dutch Passion geneticists used a very potent GMO clone that was crossed with our classic Think Fast strain.

The result is a fast, stable and very potent photoperiod cannabis seed variety with a completely game-changing terpene profile. Most GMO Fast plants have the unmistakable and unique savoury, onion/garlic aroma profile. The THC levels of this feminised cannabis seed variety are very high and will usually be around/above 20%. Initial lab results indicated THC levels of around 22-23%. And all that in a very rapid flowering period thanks to the recessive (‘fast’) autoflower genetics. When grown indoors, she will be ready for harvest around 7-8 weeks after flipping the cannabis light cycle to 12/12.

In an outdoor grow, she is more than capable even in temperate climates. In a temperate outdoor environment in the Northern Hemisphere you can harvest in September (March in the Southern Hemisphere). This makes her particularly suitable for guerrilla/outdoor growers with short growing seasons and a difficult climate that quickly becomes cold/wet.

Hollands Hope® is a time honoured outdoor strain, one of the very first to be fully acclimatised and grown outdoors in Holland since the early 1980’s. Hollands Hope® is noted for its mold resistance, this is a hardy and reliable variety that is ready for harvest around the end of September or early October after around 8 weeks of flowering.


This is a quality indica bred to tolerate the Dutch outdoor climate but it will grow well in other outdoor climates. The plants are typically 1-2m tall, this is a heavy yielding Indica strain with a real knockout stone and has been a favourite outdoor strain of ours since the beginning.


Plants can yield anywhere from 100g to 1000g per plant depending on the growing conditions. Be careful not to give too much nutrition to Hollands Hope® as it can encourage too many leaves and actually reduce bud production. Buds typically reach 50cm in length and contain small leaves.

Ice Cream Haze guarantees fast-growing plants with an extremely high yield of potent cannabis buds. In addition to a pungent and tasty terpene profile, this hybrid cannabis seed variety also has a very high THC level.

On average this will be somewhere between 18-20% THC, but there are also phenotypes that rise well above 20% (up to about a maximum of 25%), especially when grown in perfect conditions. Expect this in combination with an XXL harvest.
What exactly are the genetics in Ice Cream Haze?

Ice Cream Haze® is a new-school USA inspired Haze hybrid, based on an old-school Haze cultivar and the well known and sought-after American Ice Cream Cake genetics. This F1 hybrid cross was developed years ago by breeder Antonio, (35 cannabis cups in the last 7 years!) initially only available as a regular strain, but due to excellent feedback, is now also available as a feminised cross a few years later.

The Haze mother in this crossing comes from a Crockett's Haze selection. This is a very vigorous, fast growing Sativa plant that can provide truly exceptional yields (750g+/m2). Ice Cream Haze is a tropical fruit-smelling Haze variety that is very sticky and also tastes fantastic.

The Ice Cream Cake (Gelato x Wedding Cake) pollinators (both male and female) are truly two gems. Both are vigorous, stable and take root quickly. In addition to a powerful terpene profile, the mother always provides compact, easy to cut, potent buds with a beautiful appearance.

And the father is one with a strong aroma (especially after a good 'stem rub'), powerful branches and a good masculine top structure with the bonus of very frosty sugar leaves. Combining two different cultivars (one of which is a full Sativa and the other a slightly more Indica-dominant hybrid) creates a truly unique product. Ice Cream Haze is therefore suitable for lovers of fast-growing plants with generous yields of strong smelling/tasting weed.

Ice Cream Haze is a stable and robust Sativa-dominant cannabis strain. These ladies exhibit a vigorous growth pattern throughout their entire life cycle (both during the vegetative phase and the cannabis flowering phase). The plants develop strong, stiff branches and have a vigorous stretching period during flowering.

In general, the Sativa appearance dominates, with the large long leaves and desirable full/long spear-like buds. By adding the Ice Cream Cake genetics, there are also different phenotypes that embrace the hybrid characteristics and structure a little more.

This usually means a slightly more compact bud and a slightly faster flowering time than the more pure Sativas/Haze-dominant plants. On average, the flowering time is between 8-10 weeks - this is relatively fast for a Haze cannabis strain.

Most plants stretch in an indoor grow for approximately 2.5 - 4 weeks after changing the clock to 12/12 bloom conditions. This makes them ideal for cultivation in both the SOG and SCROG setup. These two cultivation methods also provide the highest yields. The F1 hybrid vigour is clearly present in this cross.

These are easy-to-grow plants that also do well in an outdoor grow, but keep in mind that this strain is not suitable for growing in temperate/cold climates due to the relatively longer flowering time. In a sunny, dry (e.g. Mediterranean-like) climate, this strain excels and in good conditions produces plants that can easily reach 3 meters in height and sometimes just as wide! Yields-per-plant can then easily exceed 1 kg (dry buds) in combination with the right care and climatic conditions.

Ice Cream Haze buds are loaded with trichomes, super white and sticky! Ice Cream Haze generally has a short-to-medium internode distance. The branches fill beautifully with buds merging together to form thick, fully loaded blooms.

The top blooms (main colas) often grow 25-50 cm long (when grown naturally) and become heavy enough to require support. By topping/fimming her (HST, cannabis High Stress Training) during the growth phase (possibly several times) and by using LST (Low Stress Training) or the SCROG technique, you can control her height to some extent.

The flowering time of Ice Cream Haze

Ice Cream Haze has an average flowering time of between 8-10 weeks. However, there will sometimes be plants that need a little longer to fully ripen. Especially when the indoor or outdoor climate has been less than optimal. She can withstand high temperatures quite well (30-35+°C), but this can delay the ripening of the buds during the late flowering phase. Preferably grow her in an optimized 21-27°C indoor climate (70F - 80F).

Outdoors, it is recommended to only grow Ice Cream Haze in slightly sunnier, warmer (and generally drier) climates. She is not suitable for growing in cold/wet regions. However, she does very well in the Mediterranean-like conditions and hilly areas.

When grown in a sunny and warm climate, the plants of this strain can grow into real monsters! She can tolerate quite a bit of rain, but does not like her roots to be waterlogged. The combination of wet and cold is very unfavourable and should therefore be avoided as much as possible.
The yield of Ice Cream Haze

Ice Cream Haze seeds produce plants with an extremely high XXL yield. Her elongated spear-like flowers can grow into long, solid blooms - around 40-50cm in the right conditions. The long buds have a short to medium internode distance. This ensures that the flowers grow in a tightly packed formation and therefore yields are heavy.

In an indoor grow, Ice Cream Haze can also produce very large harvests. A yield of approximately 600g/m2 can certainly be achieved. In the hands of an expert, even more is possible and with the right growing method you can even achieve around 700g/m2. Outdoors, plants grown in a warm and sunny climate will yield on average between 0.5-1 kg per plant, especially if they have been well pre-grown indoors before the outdoor season has started.

Ice Cream Haze is a Sativa-dominant Haze variety that has inherited just a little more of the Sativa genes from her mother. Although the plants will generally have a more Sativa appearance, a decent portion of the Indica genes have been included in this crossing. This ensures a relatively faster flowering time and a more compact, more hybrid bud structure for most phenotypes.

To achieve the highest yield, grow her indoors in a grow tent with the SOG method with e.g. 12-16 plants per m2 with a relatively short pre-growth. Or grow her with 2-4 plants per m2 in a SCROG setup in large air or smart pots with a long pre-growth period.

Outside in warm, dry climates she can grow in the open ground, but she also does very well in large 100-500 L smart pots/root pouches. The extra oxygen in these containers ensures good root aeration and the 'air pruning' that takes place ensures a very healthy root system with a thick root ball.

The flowers of Ice Cream Haze can smell incredibly strong and pungent towards the end of the bloom phase. The aroma is usually fruity and spicy, but can sometimes also be very creamy and sweet. The odour development is so strong & intense towards the end of flowering that it is recommended to take this into account.

In an indoor cultivation it is therefore recommended to provide strong extraction, in combination with (preferably) new carbon filters. Take extra care to harvest, dry and cure your cannabis professionally to bring the very best out of this strain.

Growth characteristics of Kingston Punch sativa seeds

Kingston Punch is relatively easy to grow and performs consistently in indoor, outdoor and greenhouse environments. Despite her sativa dominance, stretch during early flowering remains limited and manageable.

The plant adapts exceptionally well to SCROG techniques and also performs strongly in SOG setups, producing a dense and oversized main bloom. Moderate feeding is recommended, particularly when using mineral nutrients, with EC levels ideally kept below 1.8 during the mid to late flowering phase. Outdoors, Kingston Punch thrives in warm and humid conditions and performs especially well in tropical and subtropical climates.
