Love this place. Staff is really friendly and helpful. This is my first visit and it did not disappoint. I left there with a better understanding of how everything works!

While they may not have quite the largest selection, I still make this my go to stop because the budtenders there are the absolute sweetest and SO helpful!

This is the only place I go in Alva. The owners really seem to love what they do and it shows. They have a nice range of different products so there is something there for everyone, and the prices are great. My favorite thing about it though is whenever I go in, I feel less like I'm shopping and more like I'm just stopping to talk to a friend. It's a very comfortable and chill atmosphere.

Quite literally root down has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I’m a lifelong sufferer of Diabetes and I have extreme Diabetic neuropathy. I have been averaging about 1 to 2 hours of sleep a night and thanks to my doctors prescription for medical marijuana and rootdown I have found drugs that help me sleep 8 to 10 hours a night. I’m like a new person and the staff at rootdown in Ocean Springs is the absolute best. I have to mention them my name, Jackie, Amanda, Justin, Pam and Mel are the best they sit down with you. They help you understand the different products and help recommend what’s best for you. I was a starter. I’ve gotten a little bit more advanced, and I have to thank the staff of root down who are the best. If you need medical marijuana and you live in Ocean Springs or near Ocean Springs Mississippi this is the place to go. They will take care of you. They’re courteous. I visited Kush Gardens Woodward April 17, 2026. I got a gram of Lime Sorbet concentrate for dabbing and 2 28-preroll packs. I was informed by the budtender that I qualified for the 4/20 promotion for spending at least 60 bucks in a single transaction. For less than 20 cents, I was allowed to purchase a 4/20 goodie bag. The choices were Sativa, Hybrid, Indica. I received 4 regular pre-rolls, 1 infused pre-roll, a gram of concentrate, a full Banana goat cartridge for a battery pen, and a package of edibles. I hope I remembered all the goodies! For MMJ, I love Kush Gardens Woodward!
