Concentrate storage means the containers and liners used to hold cannabis extracts without losing product to the walls of the jar. Extracts are sticky and their texture shifts with temperature, so the container matters more here than it does for flower. Common forms include: glass jars with screw lids for shatter, diamonds, and sauce; nonstick silicone containers for wax, budder, and badder; parchment or PTFE liners folded around slabs; small metal tins; and insulated cases for longer holds. Capacity is given in milliliters or grams, and 5ml and 7ml jars are the usual single-gram sizes. Keep containers cool, dark, and closed, because light, heat, and air are what degrade an extract over time. Wide-mouth jars empty more cleanly than tall narrow ones, which is why most extract packaging is short and squat.

Glass is the safer long hold. It is inert, it seals tightly, and it absorbs nothing. Silicone is far easier to scrape clean, but soft textures left sitting in it for weeks can pick up a faint off flavor, and thin oils can seep into the surface. Treat silicone as a working container and glass as the keeper. Parchment suits shatter but will fuse to badder. Cold firms an extract up and warmth loosens it, so texture reads differently straight out of a fridge.
