THC live rosin dabs

"Live rosin is a solventless cannabis concentrate made from fresh-frozen cannabis plants. Frozen plants are placed in a rosin press, which uses heat and pressure to extract a hot oil from the plants, which is rosin. The “live” in live rosin means frozen plants were used as the source material; when dried cannabis plant material is used, it is just rosin."

Learn more about live rosin

Rosin is a cannabis concentrate made with nothing but heat and pressure. Plant material, kief, or hash goes into a press between two heated plates, and the resin is squeezed out through a filter bag. No butane, propane, ethanol, or CO2 ever touches it, which is why rosin counts as solventless. A few versions show up on menus: flower rosin, pressed from dried buds; hash rosin, pressed from ice water hash; and live rosin, pressed from hash made with fresh-frozen plants. Texture runs from a runny sap to a whipped, cakey consistency. Potency commonly lands in the 50 to 80 percent THC range. Rosin is dabbed, vaped, or filled into cartridges. Because no solvent is involved, there is no residual solvent to purge, though it is still lab tested for potency. Sold where legal.

Two settings shape the result. A lower plate temperature with a longer press gives a lighter, more aromatic product, while extra heat raises yield and darkens the color. The filter bag matters just as much: bags are rated in microns, and a tighter weave holds back more plant matter for a cleaner press at the cost of volume. Hash rosin starts from already-sieved resin, so it needs far less filtering than flower rosin does.
