There is some dispute over the origins of the OGKB strain with some experts suggesting it is a mix of Durban Poison, OG Kush and GSC. Cookie Fam is believed to be the original breeder of this particular strain. As for the name, it is said to honor the patriarch of Cookie Fam.

Mimosa weed entered the main stage of the cannabis market three years ago in Denver and since then it is one of the most frequent choices for morning smoke. The breeders from Symbiotic Genetics decided to cross the Purple Punch and Clementine strains so they could see the final result of these two fantastic strains. They did create this weed. It became a successful and highly wanted flower instantly, to the point where dispensaries could not have it enough in stock as people started buying it like crazy. This was, of course, due to its incredible sweet smell but also due to the stable genetics and Sativa-dominant phenotype that gave fantastic focus to those who like to spark up in the morning.

Afgoo is another name for Afgooey, a cross of an unknown sativa from Maui and an unknown indica from Afghanistan. It’s a good nighttime strain with strong indica genetics (sativa/indica ratio of 20:80). THC levels are strong, passing 28% in some tests.
There isn’t much CBD in this strain, though, less than 1%, so it shouldn’t be used to treat conditions that respond to CBD, such as epilepsy. Instead, it’s an effective treatment for depression, chronic pain, nausea, insomnia, and anxiety.

Let’s see ,  she was created from a Purple Haze, Big Bud, back crossed to a Grand Daddy Purple by Ken Estes since we really love Ken’s work here at NukeHeads, and the fat Purple Elephant colas we so loved we took a Purple Elephant  crossed it with a NukeDaddy,  we grew those seeds out in the start of 2018, then crossed it out our purple haze, big bud x GDP cross , and we didn’t end it there, oohh no ….  we love Black Berry Kush because it’s ultra dark leaves and dark purple buds to make one super mix of purple frosty potent out of this world genetic that grows very well in cold climates and looks spectacular indoor or outdoor.  It’s so purple in aroma that and it’s coloration when iced up or grown in the cold can turn so purple  it’s not very discrete if you grow it outside because it’s dark coloration stands out quite a bit especially if you grow this strain very large. The chlorophyll pigment responsible for this behavior is anthocyanin and this genetic expresses it when subjected to cold. The leaves will normally be green from start to finish unless subjected to cold in which a dark green / purple appearing fan leaves will come about !

PLEASE NOTE:  THERE HAS BEEN REPORTS OF THIS STRAIN GROWING ENTIRELY GREEN SHOWING NO PURPLING YET IT SMELLS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE PURPLE PHENO EXPRESSION … we have since found that if this doesn’t purple for you and instead grows entirely green. It may be outputting a higher THC level and more yield.  We have worked to isolate a consistent dark purple but we have seen cases where this genetic turns beautiful purple at one friends house; they gives seeds to a friend and it doesn’t purple at all.  We have not yet fully stabilized this purple gentic as it has under-gone cross backs and is on an F4 generation. So it’s close to true breed dark solid purple with no green outcome.

Chemdawg is a legendary strain with an uncertain genetic history.  But NukeHeads Purple Chem Dog has a cross to enhance and boost this all time favorite. We have crossed Girlscout Cookies and Grand Daddy purple into this Chem Dog and dubbed it  Purple Chem Dawg . A unique special cross to NukeHeads Genetics ! In general about Chem Dawg that is the dominant genes of this cross let’s cover some things you’ll be excited to know.

While the original Chem Dawg was thought to be crossed from Thai and Nepalese sativa landraces by U.S. breeders, many have laid claim to this strain’s creation. Chemdawg’s origin stories include one account of a complicated seed exchange among fellow growers at a Grateful Dead concert and another tale pinning the strain’s parentage on a Colorado strain called Dog Bud (so named for its tendency to make the smoker roll over like a dog). Whatever its beginnings, Chemdawg has become a staple in the U.S. cannabis market for its unique taste and upbeat, energetic high. It has also been used to crossbreed several popular and successful strains. Chemdawg’s THC content has been measured at between 15% and 20%.

Chemdawg has medium-sized buds that look slightly different from those of hybrid or pure indica lineage. Long and tapered rather than popcorn-like, the flowers have relatively loose and wispy leaves. The spring green leaves are covered in sticky white trichomes, lending buds a silver-white appearance. Due to the combination of their loose structure and resinous texture, buds of Chemdawg are particularly difficult to break up by hand — users preparing flowers for joints or pipes will have an easier time with a grinder. The sticky flowers are threaded through with red to orange pistils. Chemdawg has a smell reminiscent of diesel fuel (which many say is the source of the “chem” in its name). The pungent flowers also give off odors of earthy musk and some pine. As long as flowers are properly cured, this strain has smooth smoke that tastes sour and when inhaled. On the exhale, Chemdawg’s smoke betrays its signature diesel taste with an ammonia-like tang that hits the top of the palate.

The high from Chemdawg hits quickly, sometimes before users have had a chance to finish appreciating its distinctive diesel aroma. Smokers may experience a sharpening of the senses and an increased hyper-awareness of their surroundings. This initially disorienting head high becomes more productively cerebral and introspective in the right set and setting. Chemdawg can lend itself to exuberant conversation. Its ability to amplify sensory experiences also makes it particularly good for creative endeavors. Many users report a palpable sense of physical relaxation — although nothing near couchlock — leading to some speculation that Chemdawg has some indica in its genetics as well. Chemdawg’s strong cerebral high has made it valuable in treating some of the symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, and even PTSD. Some fans of the strain describe relief from chronic pain and migraines as well. Because of its potency and mental focus, Chemdawg has the potential to trigger the kind of manic, recursive thinking that can lead to paranoia. As such, even users with a high tolerance for THC are advised to moderate their intake accordingly.

Chemdawg is a strain whose cultivation is better suited to more experienced growers. For a while, it could only be grown as a clone if a clipping was obtained from a mature plant; now, however, many seed companies sell packaged seeds of Chemdawg. It is more often grown indoors than outdoors, as it requires a good amount of tending to resist mold and mildew. Growing indoors takes some vigilance — the sativa-typical plants often grow over 5 feet tall, and as such, growers should bend and prune them early in the vegetative stage in order to keep them at a manageable height. Plants flower within 9 to 10 weeks when grown indoors and typically offer a very high yield: growers can expect between 65 and 75 grams, or 2.3 and 2.6 ounces, per square footage of plant. Such high yields on such relatively tall plants can make for branches that sag under the weight of the flowers; growers should use tall supports like wooden dowels in order to keep plants upright in the flowering stage. Finally, because of Chemdawg’s pungency, any growers preoccupied with secrecy or discretion should invest in indoor odor-control measures like carbon air filters or exhaust fans.

Chemdawg’s potency has made it a valuable strain for crossbreeding. Its descendant strains include the phenotype Chemdawg 91 as well as the hugely popular hybrids Sour Diesel and OG Kush. More likely to keep users awake then put them to sleep if consumed at night, it has an almost eye-watering pungency and energizing and thought-stimulating effects. Chemdawg can be a great choice for accomplishing tasks, as well as for more celebratory circumstances as it keeps heads buzzing and conversation flowing.

Kine Bud was an often used term for high quality weed; back when reggy weed ( regular swag weed ) was common and cheap and you sought after better.  But, what you probably didn’t know is there was a strain also called  KINE BUD ,  a  Kush  crossed with pine bud that circulated in the early 90’s in south Texas near the San Antonio area. One would have to ask ” Is it Kine bud or the Kine strain ? ” in these parts of Texas.  NukeHeads has acquired this strain and produced seeds from it bringing back those 90’s when we all sought after Kine Bud or Dro .  Today we now know that allot of folks who called dro , well dro … it wasn’t dro after all in most cases it was all dirt grown weed. The percentile of growers even in the undergrounds was mostly soil / dirt growers and rare was a true hydro grower found due to the inability to quickly get rid of grow equipment during a raid.  Which made dirt growing choicest  for illegal located growers.
Kine Bud as the strain was quite a tasty and medicating strains.  The Kush lineage was actually a Hindu Kush line which The origins of Kush Cannabis are from landrace plants mainly in Afghanistan, Northern Pakistan and North-Western India with the name coming from the Hindu Kush mountain range. “Hindu Kush” strains of Cannabis were taken to the United States in the mid-to-late 1970s and continue to be available there to the present day.
The Pine strain strong with ” pinenes ” in it’s terpene profile made the bud of pine bud smell well like a pine tree. It was quite a unique strain and enjoyable; the dilemma here is no actual information was solidified other than we know it was a Kush strain with a pine bud strain cross; however, there is also an Afghanistan strain called pine tar, so what information we have on Kine Bud as a strain itself  is that it was either a pine tar x Hindu Kush cross,   OR  it was a Hindu Kush cross with pine bud  the strain itself.  We’ve dug into this and this is the one paradox we run into with the San Antonio, Texas  ” KINE BUD ” infamous strain.  But, we got it !  And we have seeds of it to offer to you  here at NukeHeads !
