The atmosphere is super chill and relaxing. There’s no feeling of being rushed, or that you’re a burden. Every tender I’ve met has been nice and courteous even at 10:45 on a Saturday night. Highly recommend this dispo not just for the people but the prices too.

The owner here is very knowledgeable and eager to help. I love that she gives me realistic and honest expectations of what to expect from certain products, since I’m coming to SD from a different state with a much more established medical cannabis market. I’ve been really pleased with the quality so far and have found a few new strains I really like because of her recommendations. I don’t have a favorite dispensary but Altus is fast becoming the place I frequent most. The atmosphere is super chill and the budtenders will actually listen and give advice instead of just upselling what’s most expensive. If you’re on the fence about stopping by just save yourself some time and just go! You won’t be disappointed.
