They were the first and locally owned.Always great service and great specials. No need to go anywhere else

I stopped by Rise on Detroit in Lakewood this morning 8-15-24 and had a wonderful experience. The person who checked me in John V was welcoming and efficient. I have been coming to this location for the last 2 years and because of people like him, I will continue to do so.

I always place an order online for pickup and it's ready when I get there. Navigating the website and ordering is easy. There are always deals on their wide variety of products and they have a rewards system. You can prepay online or pay when you pickup your goods. The quality of products definitely depends on what you buy. Prices are high right now but I'm sure it's because they're the only dispensary within a several mile radius.

I've been meaning to write a review for a while but just am getting to it. I give this store 5 stars simply because of the customer service alone. Simple check in process, where everyone I've talked to has greeted me with kindness and information on what to do next. When walking into the store, employees are always helpful and ready to assist. I will say specifically, I am always impressed about one individuals customer service. I'm not sure if she is Curaleaf Newark manager or assistant manager but I believe her name is Maddie. And if this is not correct spelling then I do apologize but she's the woman with black bangs and star wars tattoos. She absolutely excels at speaking to people with respect and walks every customer through the buying process and/or the next steps on how to pay on the card reader. What's good about an employee like her is that other employees see the standard that she sets and very easily creates a culture with in store that brings customers back. If possible, I'd suggest giving her a raise on top of all the good work she is already doing for the company. At the end of the day I never went out and picked a specific location to buy my THC products until now. Newark location has absolutely won my business and I'll be back many more times. - T.R. Pickup is very quick! I came back to browse and was ecstatic to find friendly, helpful service and a wide variety of products. I had the best experience I have ever had at a dispensary here!

Scott M is always very helpful explaining all the products. Great place, highly recommend.

Beautiful store, and everyone is always really welcoming and friendly.

They go thru alot of employees, but that seems to be standard at all the bud stores. However if your lucky enough to know one of there day ones Ian then your in luck. One of my favorite butenders in all of marquette county. He always takes care of me. Being a vet I appreciate him greatly. Never hesitate to shop here.

My bud-tender Avery was professional knowledgeable personable. She also remembered me and what I prefer.

The entire staff was very friendly, and the 35% Veteran discount is amazing!

Great quality, service, and atmosphere. Best spot in NE Ohio.

I approve! This place is immaculate and everyone is so nice especially Ash, a dear friend and she does a great job. She makes me smile and happy with my purchases. I hope to see her again!

Short wait, extremely helpful staff. Took a solid 30 minutes to review the menu with me and made a few great recommendations. As another reviewer mentioned, the vibes are immaculate.

Took a bit of work to find but a great little spot nonetheless

Everyone is very knowledgeable and can help with most situations! Products are top notch and the shop is very clean First time ordering online but have been shopping in store for a very long time!

Best weed store around and they have been around since the beginning…,

Kentucky’s first medical dispensary. Rolling out some top-notch medical strains a few at a time. Quality is very good

Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. Really liked the layout of the store. Don’t mind using a kiosk at all. When I needed help choosing based on my tastes the staff gave me a great recommendation. The flower I bought is great quality. Will definitely be back.

One of, maybe even, the best dispensaries on the East. Great & helpful staff who truly go out their way to assist.

Pharmacists are very knowledgeable and helpful. Fast and easy purchasing. Fantastic deals!
