I love this place. The products are great, they have sales all the time, and every budtender I have ever been helped by, whether they were tending or acting as receptionist, has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Everyone here always goes that extra mile, makes you feel like they actually want to make you happy. Wonderful service, every time. Tonight, my budtender was Carlos, and he was was extremely sweet and helpful; really knew his stuff. I also really liked his saying, "They say the sky is the limit, but we've been to outer space, so there is no limit." I really like coming here. For sure my favorite dispensary. Really. :-D

This is the only dispensary in this area so people who live around here really don't have a choice unless they want to drive an hour away. When they first opened up rec use here, the flower was old and dry. At least what I was getting was that way. Fast forward to 2025 and everything seems fresh now, but I do tend to look for new additions to the menu and get those. I saw where some people were complaining about price, but I compared the same exact products with dispensaries in KC and the prices are exactly the same. It's been my experience here where most of the staff are very friendly. Maybe not all of them all the time, but everyone has their bad days, so I don't fault them on that. Overall, I'd give this dispensary 4 out of 5 stars. The reason for the missing star is they don't have as large of a selection as other bigger dispensaries. But aside from that, these guys are right on par with everywhere else I've been to as far as staff, price and atmosphere. I'm very glad they are there because if they weren't, everybody would be driving to Joplin or KC all the time.

I took advantage of an incredible sale through Leafly for an ounce of high quality flower for $80. It was ready for me as soon as I walked in in a sealed airtight zip lock package. The budtender asked for 80 dollars,tax was included which also stunned me. Fantastic deal.Then the budtender said wait, there's more, here's your free preroll! I've been coming to the Magnolia City Apothecary since I got my medical license. Service is always great, very knowledgeable staff and I love the deals they have through out the week. I highly recommend this dispensary.

I've been here several times and now I don't go anywhere else. The staff has been so kind and knowledgeable. Immediately upon entering I felt comfortable. They never make me feel as though I'm asking too many questions even though I have many each time I come in! Did I mention their selection?! They have so much! I will definitely recommend this to both someone new to medical cannabis and to the experienced user.

My friend is currently going through a horrible messy divorce, he suggested a strain for the ex husband and an amazing one for the ex wife to be! Seriously could not thank him enough!! Seriously if Keith sees this you are the bomb!!!

First time here but have plans to return very soon. It is a bit of a drive for me to get to but it was worth the trip. Upon arrival the strain we wanted was not available and staff was able to help us find a suitable alternative. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Service was a quick as we wanted it to be and I didn’t feel rushed to get through even though they were busy. Atmosphere was clean, very cool and chill.
