Been going here for years, my fave dispensary hands down! Great selection of everything you could possibly want. I'd like to send a shout out to the last budtender who took care of me. Josiah went above and beyond to help me place an order for seeds, hunting them down and then calling me back to let me know what was available. Give Josiah a raise! Cheerful, helpful and knowledgable, made the whole experience a treat!

Friendly folks, welcoming layout, in and out quickly. Kind of a hidden gem for top shelf flower, w/ 2022 Emerald Cup winners in their inventory at ~$5 cheaper per eighth than anywhere else in the city at the time of this posting. Will definitely be back!

Was in town for the weekend and stumbled across this dispensary. It is located close to Chinatown and Italy. Staff and security were amazing. Prices are great. Best products we found while in town.

What I like about Grass Roots was that not only was the staff very helpful, hearing about their experiences with cannabis products helped me delve into a part of cannabis. That new part was edibles. I purchased the Huckleberry Wyld gummies and they gave me the best high I received in a while. Thank you Grass Roots SF!!!!!

I come here at least once a week or 10 times a month... literally. The staff: it's a hit or miss depending on if they're new or not. I know some of the staff names as to Gio & Daniel. They're dope budtenders, knowledgeable and enjoy our small chats. I typically come in the night before they close, since I get off pretty late at 9:30 in Marin County, I always try to make it because it's open until 10PM, which helps me even if there about to close, I understand that it's a bothersome being that late customer but, there's no dispensary in Marin County open late, so crossing the bridge is worth it especially with welcoming staff that are true to their job and helping people with their needs. Always gives the best recommendations.

The name of the game is high end products at a price point that makes sense for everyone. I recently became interested in RSO tabs and found this shop with massive discounts. We swooped in and picked up two containers for less than a c note. That’s always a huge bonus!

Lici helped me out today and I will be coming back just to see her and have her help me. I had ordered product online and she was able read me and my needs; which were not what I had ordered online. She helped me change my order and gave me some new knowledge to go with my beautiful products. I went in right before they closed and she, and other employees were very kind and didn’t make me feel like my late arrival was frustrating. Inside was beautiful, spacious, and clean. I’ve been to the Apothecarium in Soma on multiple occasions, and they never fail to impress! The layout of the dispensary is clean and the ambiance reflects its namesake- it gives off early 20th century vibes for sure. The budtenders are knowledgeable, not pushy but patient, their selection is pretty expansive, and the prices are definitely on the better side. Due to the proximity to my work in addition to everything listed above, this is my new go-to for anything weed related.
