The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. I needed a strain that was good for pain relief, the bud tender knew exactly what I needed. They explained to me how certain strains and the turpines act, and how helpful the strain I picked might be. They explained what effects I could expect, noting one strain may Knock me out, while another helps with pain and would help with my energy levels. I will note that at one point there was an employee that was very loud and abrasive, however she no longer seems to be there. Everyone there has been nothing but respectful, attentive and courteous. The shop is clean, and they have a really good selection of both weed products as well as glass to choose from. No waiting outside in the cold like some other places I've been. This is the place I recommend to anyone visiting from out of town.

Easy in, easy out with a friendly accommodating staff. As a home grower I was more curious than anything about the comparative quality of dispensary cannabis to what I grow. Against my better judgement I bought a half oz. of (Layer cake) smalls as these small buds are generally what I throw away. But I still had high hopes for these smalls coming from a dispensary and all. First thing I do when I get home is get them under a microscope. All the trichcomes are clear headed. This is a sign of a very immature bud that wasn't finished properly and received very little light at the bottom of the plant. They will get you high but it's more of a slam you in the head high than easing you into a euphoric state. They are absent the entourage effects of a fully flowered and finished top shelf bud. If this was a person's first experience with cannabis the anxiety it produces if they over indulge would probably turn them off the plant completely. Unless your on an extremely tight budget, save your money and pay the extra for top shelf, top of the plant bud. You'll be glad you did. I remember now why I dispose of these small and not quite ready for prime time flowers. I do understand that the manufacturer is trying to reduce waste and keep product on the shelf and accommodate those on a budget but there is always a tradeoff when you purchase a discounted flower. Quantity verses Quality. I wasn't a fan of the smalls but my wife enjoyed it. All in all I give Zen Leaf an A+ but keep in mind you usually get what you pay for when it comes to weed. Went back and picked up some Kosher Kush and Enigma...Both are very good and checked all the boxes in what I would consider top shelf smoke..very pleased.

Just would like to give a shout-out to Temescal for really doing an amazing job with their decorations for Halloween! The yellow brick road was just the coolest! I especially decided to shop here because it happened to be less than a mile away where I was for a function. And...I had checked out their menu online! This was the only place in the area where I could get brands I have been looking for. I was completely pleased with whole experience at Upstate Canna. Plenty of parking in front of the store. Pleasant check-in. Layout utilizes space efficiently so you can view products. Tremendous selection of flower and prices to fit every budget. many other products to choose from as well. I was very pleased with the prices on what I bought. Jeremy, my budtender was pleasant (as was Joe, lol) and knowledgeable about what I purchased. Overall, this was a great first-time experience. As a veteran of visiting six state's worth of dispensaries, I have had many good, some mediocre, and flat-out poor experiences (just a few). I will definitely visit again if I am in the Albany/Schenectady area.

love the staff and atmosphere. I'm really writing to ask the folks at Matter what's going on with the capsules and highest thc concentration tincture (blue). Many customers rely on these for pain management. The capsules are particularly potent and perfect for many to get through a whole day. The problem is they don’t communicate with the staff at Verilife so they're not sure what's going on. we heard the machine broke and they're waiting on a part. That said, being medical, why are we not treated like this is important medicine? If there was a shortage of insulin we'd hear about it. And, the staff said they can't contact the folks at Matter.

I simply love Cannapa! The Hillsborough location is perfect for a lunch run during working hours. It's always clean and the bud tenders are always helpful. my last experience was the best. I wish I remember the tenders name that helped me. She was a Black lady. I went in just to pick up a couple grams in their anniversary. She was able to recommend really good options and describe the experience she had with each flower. I hope I get her every time.
