Every time I visit Elk Mountain Trading Post in De Beque, one of the highlights is seeing and talking with Troy!! He is consistently friendly, outgoing, professional, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. His knowledge of cannabis, THC products, strains, effects, and options is impressive, but what really stands out is the way he takes the time to listen and help you find what you're looking for without ever making you feel rushed or pressured. Great customer service isn't just about knowing the products—it's about how you treat people—and this guy gets it right every single time. He's consistent, personable, knowledgeable, and just an all-around great person to deal with. I actually look forward to seeing him whenever I stop in. Through the kindness commitment and love of the owners and community patrons of Catalyst, Anna and Elliot as well as their supporters, friends and investors to provide the community with the nutrition that they need. These individuals have made a commitment to do what is right by providing services for the people in the form of a variety of medicines and nutrition for people to enjoy to open their minds, hearts and spirits in a time of great trial. Took a bit to get in but they are super kind and nice . Asked for something to go to sleep and got something that knocked me out in minutes 10/10

Everyone here is super friendly and they’ll work with you to find exactly what you’re looking for. What I like most is that once you find what you want it’s easy to get in and out once they know you’re regular.

First time visit I was impressed. I came with one product in mind. Alejandro (Alex) suggested another after a brief conversation with me. I'm so glad he did, a great tip. The entire staff was friendly from the receptionist to the bud tender. Even the security guards didn't look like they were having a bad day as most do.

Great environment, everyone who worked there was so kind and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. The doorman was friendly and told me exactly what to expect as a first time customer. The budtender who assisted me, Marcus, took the time to listen to my needs and educated me on the products I was interested in— not only on the effects, but differences in ingredients and how the were made. He made recommendations in every price range, he stepped away to let me browse the store alone and happily stepped in when I had any questions. From overhearing other conversations, all the budtenders seemed extremely knowledgeable and all had meaningful conversations with customers— not just sales pitches. It was refreshing and I will be back!

Such a huge beautiful store. Even when there are lines, they move customers in quickly! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They know it all! They don’t try to upsell you or rush you. They make sure you get exactly what you need every time! The location is so clean and organized. One of my favorite shops of all time fersure!

Tried Black Maple CAT4 rosin from Catalyst and was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. The texture was enjoyable, the flavor came through nicely, and the overall experience made it a solid option for me. I’d be interested in trying other CAT4 strains to see how they compare.
