New Strains Alert: Ayahuasca Purple, Bad Azz Kush, Kush-N-Cheese, and More

Happy Friday and welcome back to another New Strains Alert! This week we double-up on quality genetics with strains from Dinafem Seeds and Barney’s Farm.
Dinafem comes out of the gate strong with CBD Critical Mass. Critical Mass was well-received for its massive yield as well as its enjoyable indica-dominant effects. Carrying on that torch, CBD Critical Mass was created through a collaboration with CBD Crew that helped create medicinally driven genetics. Barney’s Farm has quite a few strains on Leafly, but these are all new. Bad Azz Kush came into being with the help of rapper Bad Azz himself. While the details remain unknown, the musician help stabilize this deep indica cut that offers West Coast flavors alongside weighted relaxation. On the other hand, Morning Glory emits bright, stimulating terpenes that invigorate the body and the mind.

CBD Critical Mass by Dinafem Seeds is a breeding collaboration in search of truly medicinal properties. According to Dinafem, this strain came out of a genetic mashup between the in-house Critical Mass and an undisclosed strain from CBD Crew. CBD Critical Mass has a 1:1 CBD/THC ratio and generally more pronounced indica-dominant effects. This genetic cross is known to yield an abundant harvest, but plan on supporting the plant’s vigorous growth before flowering. Dinafem recommends utilizing this strain for anorexia, insomnia, muscle pain, and depression.
Bad Azz Kush by Barney’s Farm was created with the help of rapper Bad Azz of Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips. While the full story remains untold, Bad Azz contributed to this new Kush cut that brings traditional OG elements to the table while elevating yield and flavor. Bad Azz Kush is known to express hash and berry aromas with an earthy, spicy flavor on the palate. It is a cross of OG Kush, Purple Urkle, and Afghan Kush.
