I loved talking w/John the pharmacist to expand my knowledge on medical marijuana. He was clear, knowledgeable and caring. He genuinely cared. He made it easy for me to ask questions. The staff was extremely caring and knowledgeable they had an innate way of making you feel comfortable and they were like a team in helping me figure out which strain/ terpenes were best for my conditions. This place is super awesome, very friendly and helpful. I actually had a issue with one of my vape pens I barely had for 24 hours just didn't work. They said bring back to store let us check it out. I thought man if they can't do anything I will be mad and lost out of $70. Guess what they were amazing seen it was not working and replaced it no issues what so ever. I am a disabled Veteran with degenerative back, hips and knee issues. The ONLY relief I have found to be able to function daily is Animal Face and Brownie Scout from Rise here in VA or MD (Rhythm or Dharma Pharmaceuticals). My particular situation is unique in that I am considered a "high metabolizer" and lower level opioids that are generally prescribed for pain are completely useless in my system. I didn't even know that was a thing until my degenerative problems have gotten where they are. I saw in a previous review that someone addressed the price and strength of Rise's flower. For all who don't know that is finalized by boards at the state level and is beyond the control of any dispensary in the State of VA. Hopefully things will be different soon. And yes, the flower is occasionally dry, but in my fragile state this is still what I need to be upright everyday. I always put my flower in an airtight jar with a bovida bag anyway. I will continue to shop at Rise regularly and I encourage patients who deal with pain on a daily basis give Rise a shot. You don't know what you are missing!

Preface: I've now been a medical cannabis patient for just over two months now. I am so grateful for the benefits of being able to use cannabis for a host of symptoms produced by several neurological issues. I have noticed an improvement in tolerating my neuropathy. I also have seen an improvement in my mood. And one of the biggest plusses has been my ability to give up alcohol, even if it was casual usage. I could have gotten a card years ago but chose to stick with pharmaceuticals. I'm finding now that I wish I had gotten a card much sooner. Now, on to my review of Etain after several visits. Etain's customer service is always excellent, every single time. I can't always make up my mind what I might find effective for my various ailments, so I end up placing several orders before I make my visit. Etain has always been prompt in filling every single order, and I truly appreciate that. They always have something on their menu that I can use, and sometimes they add surprise options in flower. I do use a fair amount of cannabis daily, but I'd rather use cannabis than pharmaceuticals. To find relief at this stage in my illness has been simply amazing. Again, as a medical consumer, it's so great to have flower that works. Etain's flower is packaged magnificently to maintain the fantastic quality of the product. You will find the highest quality flower, and they have a nice selection of vaporizers, including 510 thread-friendly cartridges. Edibles? Oh yes, they have a wonderful selection of those, to boot. Brands carried include The Botanist, Vireo, and matter., as well. CBD products are available, as well. This truly is a dispensary that is more geared towards wellness. Etain's facility is relaxing and cheerful. I am always greeted warmly, and I always feel completely comfortable in their cozy seats waiting the few minutes required to get my order(s). The have plenty of parking, too! Easy to access, just a few minutes from the center of Kingston. Their rewards program is just the icing on the cake. I don't know what else I can say about Etain to express how stellar they are. Buy weed from women! Get thine self to Etain. You'll be glad you went, and you will feel better thanks to benefit of quality cannabis.

The staff here is so knowledgeable! They strive to provide the best medicine for their patients/customers. The staff are friendly and kind. I love that they carry only the cleanest flower on the market! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dispensary in the Albany area.

i’m a regular here, and i couldn’t dream about going anywhere else. even if you can’t find what you’re looking for on the menu, the staff and atmosphere will keep you coming back, it feels almost like a family there. they remember me and my caregiver every week, the staff is beyond kind and sincere, and it’s always clean inside with the COMFIEST chairs!!! this was my first dispensary i went to, and i know i’ll be coming back for years !!!
