I only got to go here once years ago, but it's a memory that's stuck with me! :) it's a great place, atmosphere and friendly environment. They really made all people feel welcomed. They were able to help me find a great price (I get Disability Discount in MD and since I couldn't use it there they still helped me find a excellent deal!!!). The manager was a great guy, I think he was actually the establishment owner. Great guy! I got a strawberry glass piece form this place. I will have to come back when I visit the area again. It's never left my mind! I recommend!!!

First time cannabis user, I was nervous about going my first time . I was greet by Collin at Registration who was super friendly and talked me through what I needed to do. In addition he said I can qualify for a discount on Tuesday’s because I am a healthcare provider. It was extremely nice to hear Veterans receive this opportunity as well . Next I was greeted by Nick who helped me with my order . He was very informative about products that could be beneficial to me after actively listening to my medical needs . I was so appreciative of the time and great customer service I received. Truly the Lancaster Ave dispensary staff were all nice , atmosphere quiet and clean . I highly recommend!

She was really knowledgeable about terpenes and their effects working with her helped me find some good strains for me. I used to think it was all about the THC content, but it turns out the terpenes can carry many beneficial effects and what you select can really impact your experience. I am a disabled Veteran with degenerative back, hips and knee issues. The ONLY relief I have found to be able to function daily is Animal Face and Brownie Scout from Rise here in VA or MD (Rhythm or Dharma Pharmaceuticals). My particular situation is unique in that I am considered a "high metabolizer" and lower level opioids that are generally prescribed for pain are completely useless in my system. I didn't even know that was a thing until my degenerative problems have gotten where they are. I saw in a previous review that someone addressed the price and strength of Rise's flower. For all who don't know that is finalized by boards at the state level and is beyond the control of any dispensary in the State of VA. Hopefully things will be different soon. And yes, the flower is occasionally dry, but in my fragile state this is still what I need to be upright everyday. I always put my flower in an airtight jar with a bovida bag anyway. I will continue to shop at Rise regularly and I encourage patients who deal with pain on a daily basis give Rise a shot. You don't know what you are missing!
