I love that this is a locally owned business. The store owner is a very kind sweet person . They are always friendly and willing to help and answer questions when I ask . I am a picky person so it’s nice to go in and look at items and ask questions. Awesome place , it’s my go to dispensary!!!

I love this place, they always take care of me and are really knowledgeable about the strains. I typically only buy flower but there is always a decent ounce special and they always make sure to point out specials and discounts. I like how they always have newer but also old school strains, and also cbd strains. Very friendly and accommodating.

New favorite dispensary after one visit. Prices were good, staff was very helpful at picking out something that matched my needs, and the atmosphere put me immediately at ease (which is saying something given one of the main reasons I use cannabis is crippling chronic anxiety). Smoking some Pineapple JGR I picked up there the other day and highly recommend it for a mellow and tranquil high with the calming benefits of a 2:1 CBD:THC ratio Also gotta love the pot leaf pride flag out front and the lovely floral mural

We went to the location on NE Sandy. Alex was professional and chill. We told her we wanted to get some edibles to go to the movies and she was very helpful with detailed recommendations. I would absolutely send friends to La Mota.

Already the new owners have brought in their products (named after their COMPANY; “Hot Box”). I love when a spot is named like it was named by an eleventeen year old who just smoked for the first time. 99% of the time staff are friendly and excited to talk / show off some flower. I've had some great recommendations and some okay ones, mostly good though. Prices seem fair and the tiers give you a good idea of the quality of bud (though some weed 'brands' are clearly better than others). I've had staff recommend not buying a specific product there because it was way up-priced. I appreciate this.
