As you walk in to this tiny place there’s so much to look at! All of the budtenders I’ve interacted with have been great. So many budtenders on the outskirts of Portland really don’t know their own products! At this place all budtenders do know and will share their knowledge with you. I’d highly recommend. Get the pre rolls they roll - worth it!

Unlike neighboring retail cannabis shops, this place has a little class. For example, it doesn’t have show a lot of obnoxious advertising outside. Great service, knowledgeable staff, great product.

A fellow Army Veteran told me about this place. I’m so glad he did!! they have the best prices, it is owned by veterans, and they are super nice people. Corina is very, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. They have EXCELLENT CLONE STARTERS, and the best variety, from top shelf, down to budget, for people like me on unlimited income! they cater to veterans, senior citizens, and go out of their way to help you in anyway they can. Another thing that caught my eye, is they are upgrading, and adding on. the lounge is a good place to sit, and tell lies with your buddies !! they are going places. I wish them all the best. Had a malfunctioning product which is a chance they also take but the budtender happily helped me contact his boss who personally came in an made it right. Hella big ups. Awesome thoroughly. I've been going here for a couple of years now. Good prices and selection. The staff is easy going and knowledgeable. I have never felt like I was being "directed" to higher priced products nor rushed to decide. Over all a great place. I don't feel like I have any reason to go anywhere else.

We went to the location on NE Sandy. Alex was professional and chill. We told her we wanted to get some edibles to go to the movies and she was very helpful with detailed recommendations. I would absolutely send friends to La Mota.

Extremely high quality bud even for the budget conscious. You can get top dollar stuff but my favorites have been their lower end stuff. The staff here know thier strains and you can tell they actually enjoy the craft. I'd recommend this store to anyone. Very clean property and clean store, and the staff is always professional and courteous. 3 years of patronage and I'll keep coming back.

99% of the time staff are friendly and excited to talk / show off some flower. I've had some great recommendations and some okay ones, mostly good though. Prices seem fair and the tiers give you a good idea of the quality of bud (though some weed 'brands' are clearly better than others). I've had staff recommend not buying a specific product there because it was way up-priced. I appreciate this.

This is the BEST spot in Portland. For the help, for the “products”, it is all I have wanted/needed for over a decade. Now they have been “bought-out”. This place is AWESOME!! Already the new owners have brought in their products (named after their COMPANY; “Hot Box”). I love when a spot is named like it was named by an eleventeen year old who just smoked for the first time. I will have to find a new spot if they stop getting what they already get, and only supply “their” products. After a decade at this AWESOME spot.. nothing lasts forever.
