Chalice Farms Recreational Weed Dispensary - Albany

Chalice in Albany has been here a few years, and has transitioned ownership a few times. Over time, they are a consistent dispensary for my monthly re up. They're located within blocks of several dispensaries, and have a Chalice store app with discounts. For example, regular members get a 20% discount through the app at this time (May 5 2024), which I've used over a few years (this may be subject to change). On Sundays, people 55 years and older, get another 10% off purchase. Also, at times I'll get one produce at Chalice, and then hit another shop nearby for one of their specials. The location is centrally located and convenient, a main reason they're a regular choice. I find the employees to be kind and helpful, especially if you prefer to call ahead and pick up your order, like I do, since the pandemic. I appreciate that good weed is available at a good price with great specials on the regular. A quality flower ounce under $75 with 20%+ THC, available here on the regular (I’ve bought good ounces under $50 w/discount). A consistent purchase are their Private Stash 1 gram cartridges, 80% or higher THC usually. They have unflavored, strain specific carts that start at $20, & with discounts, can be under $17. Today is Moby Dick strain by Private Stash, and it's good. Also bring tip money, and be nice to the workers. One example: This past week, my rarely used car (just for errands, I'm a remote worker), lost battery power in their parking lot, and needed a start, after I’d made my purchase. A Chalice employee, Stephen/Steven, happened to have a charged jump start kit, and within 10 minutes my car was started and ready to go, and I was able to get my battery charged later. Above and beyond. Thank you for your work, Chalice peeps.

Shop is ok. Could use better top shelf for sure. Also the menu is terribly disorganized, dabs all in the flower category make it annoying to shop on here.

A good business doesn't accept an online order at 830, make you wait 30 minutes and then when you show up at 9 after no status tell you they can't fullfil the order because they are closed.

Terrible customer service. Messed up order, argued about it, had to drive back from another city to have them fix their mistake. They gave me coupons for my troubles. Yeah, because I'm going to go back to waste more of my time and money with them when there are much better dispensaries around. Never again. I do not recommend.

I got a zip of purple punch and it was shit. That should have been rolled. Don't buy off leafly. Make sure you see what's being weighed.

Very disappointed in their service. Dutchie had one price and when I arrived I was over charged. The bud tender is really young and clueless. I’ve had bad service the last two visits she was there. They bagged and fulfilled the order without looking at the price. A simple text or phone call would have been perfect. Most times this place os good but recently it hasn’t. So many dispensary’s’ I’ll take my money elsewhere.

The online deals are fantastic, being able to put in an order and pick it up after morning errands is the most convenient thing. Also the shop being right next to the Starbucks is great, I can stop in while my roommate is waiting in line for coffee. So far every employee I've interacted with has been professional, helpful, and had a positive attitude overall. Quickly becoming my go to store for all my needs.

This place has become my #1 potshop. Everytime I have been here I have left smiling. Excellent customer service, super pleasant and knowledgeable about their products. I love the weekly specials. I have become quite the regular I do refer them to my friends.

All I can say is WOW. I got some amazing deals on flowerand if you spend $50 you get a free hoodie "while supplies last of course" and they are great quality. They have some really cool apparel. I had to go back and buy me a couple of hoodies they had,it says "STAY LIT HOMEGROWN OREGON" and has bigfoot walking across it..so cool. And most of all the customer service was outstanding. I didnt get everyone's name but I want to thank each and everyone of you for all your help. My wife and I had just lost our 16yr old son about 5 weeks ago and you guys actually made me smile and laugh. Thank you so much for that, even when you didn't know. I liked the dispensary and the budtender was extremely helpful. My issue was the bud I bought was in one of the top shelf price ranges and was FULL of seeds. Absolutely not acceptable especially without any kind of warning. I expect that from brick weed and my crappy homegrown not from top shelf. I wouldn't recommend buying flower from here. Good deals on all else though.

I went there recently, this sales guy refused to wear his mask right. Just sort of hung loosely over his ears, kept dropping below his nose. He just shrugged when I asked him to fix it. I won't be returning.

The guy that “helped” me talked me out of the flower I was interested in by saying it was too dry. I asked about a cartridge that had been advertised on leafly and they seemed unsure of what I was talking about. After I found what I was looking for I selected a second cartridge. The guy working was running back and forth trying to find the thing I was pointing to. There was stuff all over the counter so it was hard to see. On top of that hectic set up there was loud music playing and a lot of employees talking loudly in the very small space. Struggling to get through the transaction my budtender failed to include the advertised 30% discount on the cartridges. This guy was dripping with sweat and wiping his brow with his bare, ungloved, hand during a pandemic; Gross, rude, and unprofessional. He had to get his manager to correct the pricing issue and they also failed to ring up the transaction correctly. By the time I got home (an hour drive away) I realized the price I paid was wrong, one of my carts didn’t work, and the packaging was damaged. Not worth coming back in to have them try again to make things right. Terrible selection, atmosphere, location, and service. Never again.

My first time here and had a pleasant experience. The budtenders were friendly and helpful! The store was clean and organized with an easy view of the flower as well as the items in the glass counters. Seemed to be a pretty good selection of goodies to choose from.

All around a great place! Awesome employees, very helpful, fresh flower, good prices, follow Covid rules! Everyone should check this place out!
