This is the BEST spot in Portland. For the help, for the “products”, it is all I have wanted/needed for over a decade. Now they have been “bought-out”. This place is AWESOME!! Already the new owners have brought in their products (named after their COMPANY; “Hot Box”). I love when a spot is named like it was named by an eleventeen year old who just smoked for the first time. I will have to find a new spot if they stop getting what they already get, and only supply “their” products. After a decade at this AWESOME spot.. nothing lasts forever. Please DO NOT CHANGE this spot. Please LET IT BE. Hot Box..ugh. Please, please keep it all the same. Awesome dispensary, I have been coming here for almost two years and I’m always impressed with the amount of concentrates at varying prices (normally atleast one $10 option with a range up to around $50 for some really incredible stuff). Furthermore they actually take customer feedback seriously!

I have been shopping at 420 Grand Central for almost two years now. Everyone is friendly but not everyone that works there is knowledgeable of the products they are selling. I had to shop in the store last week instead of shopping on line first and then driving there to pick it up. I wanted a specific strain and the gal told me they didn't have it. I did notice that a lot of the strains are in the wrong cabinets. For instance, you have Pamelina in the sativa cabinet and it's a Indica Dominant strain at 60/40. They also have Pablo Escobar in the Sativa cabinet and it's a 50/50 Hybrid. So I think the strain I was looking for was probably in the wrong cabinet and I was told they didn't have any. I went home and went directly to their online menu and guess what...I found the strain I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and didn't have time to go get it. I tried the next morning, but it wasn't on the menu. Two of the strains I ended up buying were in the wrong cabinets and I won't purchase those again. I will continue to shop there, but ONLY online. When I make my order online and they confirm it, then I know for sure the product I want is waiting for me. What I should have done though is ask the person to go in back and check, but I didn't and she didn't offer to go look either. She couldn't give any feedback of her own about the products, just what customers had told her. I think it would be helpful if the hired help had some knowledge about the strains.

My wife is critically ill. I have been driving these guys crazy running down the right strains for her multiple conditions. I go to only two weed stores and this is one of them. Super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, I absolutely love this place.

This store closed in 2023, and the building was torn down to be replaced by condos. This listing should probably be removed. It was a nice shop while it was open, though. I hope they found someplace else to land.
